My wife did an online Tesco shop for the first time today which arrived a few minutes ago. Is it the done thing to tip the delivery man? This time just to be safe and not set precedent...we didn't!

Did we do wrong?

Not really, I did some deliveries whilst working at Tesco and never expected a tip

Although maybe if he has worked exceptionally hard by lugging lots of stuff upstairs.
That's it! I need hear no more...the outcome of this poll is then a resounding: "No!"

No further voting allowed...polling has closed.

I would have thought that Tesco policy would demand that their delivery staff refuse all tips.
Now that I Do like! smile

My conscience will rest even easier now that "I'm sticking to rules"! I wouldn't want to get anyone into trouble.
