Why do women get so pissed off when they're called 'Poppet'? It's almost like a trigger word to send them into a banshee like rage hehe

I am not so sure, it looks at what offends the opposite sex and so could be classified as political due to the rise of sexual equality etc tongue out

Poppets are also used as kitchen witch figures.
So THATS why she gets really pissed off when i call her that in the kitchen
Buy her a cauldron for cooking, you'll be justified in your language use then biggrin

Funnily enough, we bought a card for my parents which read

"She was not happy with the saucepan set for Christmas, hopefully she'll like the six-pack of washing up liquid"

hehe
