Accidentally not paying a bill in a restaurant...
Discussion
Would you go back and pay it? I think my conscience would make me to be honest.
Reason I ask is that a few of the guys have just come back from a restaurant - they asked for seperate bills and were provided with them. One of them took a phone call outside and gave his bill to another colleague and asked him to sort it out if they want to leave before hes back and that he would reimburse.
Colleague got up, left this guys bill, allegedly just 'forgot' to pay it and they walked away. As they walked through the door of the office colleage 1 says "How much do I owe you" and colleague 2 says "oh s**t sorry mate, I didn't pay it".
I said they'd prob track him down as they have card details of all the other members of the party - if they were inclined to do so.
I'd go back and pay for peace of mind, this guy seems to see it as a £20 bonus!
