Lat night, perfect condition and normal. Had been to the gym and then followed it with a swim/sauna/steam/jacuzzi e.t.c.

This morning woke at 5am. Throat so sore and painful I can barely swallow, feel sick, seriously tired, feverish, light headed, not much appetite, headache, no energy and red eyed. Notice that my tongue is yellow also?

Try drinking water. You sound dehydrated, although not sure what the tongue thing is about.

Water, not cordial. IIRC sugar is a diuretic. You're probably low on salt but that doesn't mean you should down a tablespoon of salt. yuck

Jacuzzis are a big health risk if not properly maintained

This was a whirlpool at LA Fitness - whichin itself is a crap gym. It has been out of order recently, and didn't feel the same when I got in it. Clearer water then usual and very weak jets. I am convinced how I feel is related to something within the wet facilites, it feels just like it did as a kid when you got a holiday bug / swimmers ear - my throat is just excruciating.

Gargle with hot salt water, as hot as you can stand. Sip some too, to get it down your throat.

'Cos people pee and sweat and fart and 'ooze' in them and the temperature ferments the pee into a festering germ soup, akin to a biological warfare arsenal.

Also lots of bugs live in the bubbles and splashes that normally get killed off in normal pools. So I have heard.

You are breathing in a mist of bugs and toxins.

And spunk. Don't forget the spunk in them.

As soon as you said Jacuzzi, i thought it must be that.

After 1 hour of use they are minging if they don't have a decent water filtration system.
