Weirdly, had my first proper cheat last night, My father in law died in the morning so no meal preparation done, got the kids Pizza and ate three small slices as by some miracle there was some spare, i.e. a hell of a lot less than I normally would, got on the scales and was down another 2 pounds this morning.
I believe after a diet that sometimes some rubbish can cause an effect called a "Whoosh", i.e. where the fat cells hold on to water where there was previously triglycerides (fat) and the carbs somehow trigger this to be released.

You notice any areas where fatty cells are water laden will feel much softer and spongier than when they did before.33 days in

Watched an excellent documentary on Netflix called Fat, Sick and Nearly dead yesterday as well, about a 300 plus pound guy who slimmed down to 225 over 60 days eating nothing but juice made from fruit and veg, also helped a 429 pound truck driver who was frankly, at deaths door slim down by 100 plus pounds and totally changed his life, inspirational stuff.
I joined slimming world 6 weeks ago, just to give my wife a bit of support - started off 15st4, last night 14st.4lb.
Not done any exercise apart from walking the dog a mile or 2 a day & have just eaten healthily really, not cooked using oil, no butter, not much alcohol etc.
Worth a try.

Juice diets really aren't sustainable, I've seen a lot of bad press about them. Lack of fibre being one of the concerns.

Yeah, I wasnt going to do it, was more the message from it, i.e. weight causes issues, that necessitates medication, that causes more problems and how much we eat and drink for pleasure, how the things we use for comfort are what are causing the problems int he first place.
its a shame if the Trucker went back to his old ways, it needs to be a permanent change, at the end of the first one he looked almost normal weight. He looked ready to keel over any minute at first, he was only 41.
My father in law died yesterday of a heart attack and stroke, he was 79 which isn't young but it is sad that potentially, with a healthier lifestyle he could have potentially lived a few more years in good health.
