This is my weight since 2012... So I've blasted off a load of weight a few times. Not my first rodeo.

So I am not going to starve myself with 50g of brown rice and a bit of mackerel this time.

Just healthier options, better portion control (no seconds) and a regular but sustainable number of weekly exercise classes or gym visits... 3-4 times a week.

Then hopefully I'll come back to my 2012 weight over a few months and get into a more sustainable routine, rather than a crash diet and 6 week exercise binge to blast off the weight, only to slowly put it back on again.

Great idea for a thread, please add me in!

Currently 98.9kg and looking to get back to 85 by the summer. I tend to eat relatively well during the day but then it all goes wrong in the evening, this thread will be good motivation to stick at it.

I'm in. I'm now at the heaviest I've ever been and am utterly ashamed! I've never been the slimmest of Jims but at a underwhelming 5'10" and a staggering 18st 12lb this is fking ridiculous!

Right after my big night out weighed myself and put in 2kg!

Back still hurts but going to try 20 mins on the rower with a fairly low resistance so i don't crip myself too much!

Couldn’t get out of bed this morning due to back but loosened up now. Might even go on top later tonight to burn off a few more!
Sheetmaself, if you’re getting a sore back on a rowing machine, it’s worth checking your technique. You could be driving with your legs before you have the “weight” of the blade with your shoulders. When this happens, your leg drive is wasted and you have to pull the blade back just with your upper body - which strains backs. This incorrect technique is called “bum shoving”. Have a look at this website to check your technique:

Good luck with it.

I'd like to join in please - currently 100.9 kg, aiming for 90 kg by 1st April. In my mind I've dropped weight several times in the last two years - in reality I really haven't. Ran the Berlin Marathon in September 2019 (at 88 kg) - couldn't currently run a bath.

Naughty!

Biscuits are bad. Too much carb and don't fill you up. You'd be better off eating a slice of bread.

I turned down dessert at pizza express at lunchtime and switched my usual beer to a Coke Zero. I may have had doughballs and a bigger based Romana pizza but it’s a start right… right… hello?

Yes, it is. A bad one. You should have had the beer and ditched the doughballs.

I just checked, you’re correct Mr motivator.

396 kcal in dough balls vs 139 kcal in a bottle of Peroni.
Drat.

Good idea. There used to be one of these threads with a properly formatted grid and showed your cumulative loss. Any ideas where that might be?
