For those of you that missed it, the table is now on a separate wiki page rather than reposting it over and over in this thread (Andrew's idea).

Down 1.9kg since new year. I don't normally have my phone in my hand though and that must weigh at least 175grams!
Your jeans won't be light either! Earlofhazard~ the carpet has no give in it and the solid floor in the hall gives the same reading but I take your point.

Heavy squad weighing in here at 157kg on 1st Jan 2019, was at nearly my heaviest @ 165kg almost a year previously. So I need to lose over a normal sized man , my intention is to low carb and if I stall go the full hog on a keto diet. Gonna aim for 120kg as a realistic target and work from there.
I have lbs on my scales and like to use that as the numbers change more rapidly, so 347lbs on 1st is now 344lbs on 7th this morning. I'm thinking that's more motivating than 1.4kg.
Lots going on in the last month or so, so I'll be making a more concerted effort to accelerate my weight loss.

I’m in.
I had a good year last year, started at 94kgs (nearly 15 stone in old measurements) and managed to strip off 10kgs across the year, nice and steady - in fact I lost most of that in the first 6 months and have kinda leveled off when I got under 13 stone so I need some public pressure to get to my 11 and a half stone target ... 10kgs to go.
My planned approach is basic low-carb, reduce pub visits, smaller portions, no sweets/sugar, only eat when I’m hungry. A fit of fitness wouldn’t go amiss, I’m pretty sedentary.
53 years old and 5ft 10. Data added to the table.

Always been a bit lardy; in the genes you know .
Five years ago managed to trim down from 105kgs to a more respectable 86kgs using the 5/2 diet. Worked well and for the first couple of years kept my weight sub-90kgs. In the last 3 years it has crept on to the point that between October last year and now I've added 5kgs!
It's time to act. Firstly I've noticed how I am always the fat bloke at the back when out cycling plus in October I'll be riding a charitable event in Mallorca so
I really do need to lose some wood!
I've set a modest target of 10kgs and I'll start by reducing carbs and, in particular, cutting right down on alcohol. If that doesn't shift it at about a kilo per week then I'll go back to a 5/2.
Exercise regime will be to average 60km on the bike and swim 2km per week.
ETA: forgot to mention I'm celebrating my 60th in a couple of months. It's a reunion of friends going back 40+ years and I don't want to be the fat b*****d this time

My Concept2 should be arriving tomorrow, woot! I shall be keen to get started - are there preset programs already loaded for newbie beginners in the PM5 thingy or will I have to go searching online?
I can't remember the answer to your question exactly, I used to have my concept 2 connected to my laptop and a program called RowPro where you could race online or virtual opponents. If it still exists I suspect it will have improved more. It was good to race your previous times. I'm at 96.1kg this morning (picture to follow once I work out how to post it).
Losing 2.9Kg is always encouraging but I know it is all water weight from the low carb diet - today is day seven of sub 25g carbs and I hit peak "atkins-flu" on Saturday evening. I have stuck to it rigidly thought and and seeing the light of ketosis on the horizon.
Next aim is to get back on the bike for my 6 mile commute... not sure what is stopping me as the weather is perfect, but not managed to do it yet. I have a horrible week at work this week, but I think Friday may be the day...

Tuesday check-in day! I am down 2.1 kg from 112 to 109.9 which I am quite pleased with seeing as my total exercise thus far this year has been walking round Sainsburys doing my weekly shop . The rest of my time has been mostly spent sat on my arse but I've greatly reduced the amount I shovel in my fat face.
Well done to all the other losers as well! Keep it up!

Long time lurker and reader on the forum.
Was really determined to register on the forum and join this thread last year but never got the guts to post my weight and do it.
So here goes - 182kg starting weight - fat as f*uck I know and I really need to change.
Managed nearly 15kg off over around 4 months last year and put most of it back on but this time more determined than ever.
Good luck to everyone else.

WOW! Can't believe how popular this one is proving!
Thanks to Lemming Train for the wiki, I have asked the mods to pin it for us
I have loads to add, type and put in here just not had the time, although I will confess to having weighed myself early and seeing 107 on the scales so I am properly excited to weigh in officially tomorrow!
Keep at it everyone.

I don't usually eat breakfast, as from waking up to out the door commuting is a 15-20 minute event for me. I've been diligently entering in my diet into myfitnesspal and can see where I'm going wrong. My lunches (at 12:30) have all been 1000 calorie meals minimum as my usual weekly. I also seem to snack as soon as I get home before having dinner which adds up and shows my lack of control.
At the weekend I didn't have lunch at normal time (3pm), and had small dinners, so I lost 0.7kg over the weekend mostly from that. I get busy, active and have time to think about eating at weekends, so apart from the odd takeaway I think my main problem is my regular Mon-Fri diet.
I'm also trying to add in intermittent fasting, as it seems easier to control the time than other factors (hence why there is a lot of times in this post).
Any advice on where to cut calories here? I'm usually flagging by 11am due to no breakfast.
Nuts & dark chocolate drops (my own selection, 5 pecans, 3 brazil, 5 walnuts): 244 cal.
Nakd bar: 143 cal
Cheese sandwich with mayo: 390 cal
Apple: 80 cal
Banana: 110 cal.
Protein graze bite thing: 145 cal.
The last one is because I got a few for Christmas so just going through them. I usually have something with similar amount of calories in if not that though. It's still a typical lunch for me. I cut out my beloved crisps for the nuts, but they are usually higher in calories anyway, and the nakd bars replace chocolate bars, for a sugar reduction. I still will revert back to junk occasionally, but it doesn't seem to affect my weight as these healthier options are virtually the same calories. Apart from replacing the bread for lettuce (I did this last year for a bit looking into keto recipes, and it was actually fine) I'm not sure what to do with this.

I'm on board, fattest bastid I've ever been at 137kg and 6ft 2.
Decided to kick it off with some shakes to loose the quick stuff and then change the diet accordingly.
Need to get off my arse a bit more too frankly.
Judging by how bloody hungry I am currently, reckon it's got to be working.
Jacket potato for lunch and then something sensible with chicken for dinner today I think.

Yesterday I ate like a rabbit, exercised like a teenager and today....
stinking cold
Still plan to eat sensibly, but exercise on the back burner. I have a cross trainer in the office at work (I work alone thankfully and only the cleaner has seen me in shorts - promptly asking for more money )
The boss wants to increase my key-man life cover which will need a medical, so will delay that as long as possible.
Slimming world on Friday!

Fair play to you for taking that step. Hopefully the thread and bit of accountability it brings will be motivating. Was really determined to register on the forum and join this thread last year but never got the guts to post my weight and do it.
