I'm glad its been a positive experience! There will be a winter challenge if we have enough people who want to continue these challenges!

I'll gladly keep this up and move on to the next challenge This one gave me the motivation I needed, and seriously take a look at the difference in my food diaries from when I started to now, I've learned so much, and there is so much more to learn and improve on.Lee
I'll post my results pics up tonight as I won't have time this weekend or tomorrow. I decided against buying a new car just yet (I'd have to finance it now and that goes against everything PH ) so I've bought 4 new tyres and a new battery for the mustang and will roll with it for another couple of months.
ETA: link to my food diary, started eating clean this past monday, http://www.myfitnesspal.com/food/diary/yo_sushi

It's also helped redefine my interests in life and business somewhat.
Serious question, why is that buddy? As an aside, I've noticed that by being really careful with my food intake (not eating too much or too little), my strength is still growing despite being what outsiders call "on a diet".
I love training and finding ways of pushing myself but I think I get the most gratification from helping others succeed, I'm the same in work and focus a large proportion of my time working on the people that work for me.
I've sometimes experienced more strength on a calorie restricted diet. I believe (this isn't scientific) that the body can perform its best at much lower fat levels and I'm talking about strength although overtime if you want muscle growth and progressive strength increases you need to increase calories if that makes sense.

I'm a typical PH person as well and like to buy everything in cash!
You've done great so far anyway Sushi and should be proud of yourself!

That's a very interesting answer.

Ah, I was wondering about that. My (uninformed) plan is to increase my strength as far as I can with a calorie restriction until I'm at a bodyfat level I'm happy with (cue me going for help to get over an eating disorder ) then increasing the calorie intake to just over maintenance and using the heavier weights I'll be able to deal with for building size again.I love training and finding ways of pushing myself but I think I get the most gratification from helping others succeed, I'm the same in work and focus a large proportion of my time working on the people that work for me.

I agree this thread and the previous one has tought me a lot and still learn all the time. Certainly have enjoyed working out in whatever form its been. Its the food side of things im really really really struggling with. I tried to get a appointment at the docs last week but they couldnt fit me in but will try again.
I really want to try and find out what the hell is going on with me regurding the ammount of food i eat and why i just cant eat enough. Eating clean and with 1400 - 1600 calories im full to the point of popping ive been trying to gradually eat more but its just not happening. Think that the lack of No2 movements is half the trouble and ive tried everything to solve that.

Slacker!
Has your car arrived yet? (I want pics!)
I think you've got a reasonable excuse and the truth is I'm sure the extra time is good for the hernia to recover with!
Funnily enough, popped to dealers at lunchtime...Has your car arrived yet? (I want pics!)

Pick it up Saturday.
What car are you moving from?
If you've got the time it would good to see you write up some of your experiences with it in the 'readers cars' section.
Chopping in the 350Z GT for this one. I'll miss it, but life moves on...
I'm with a few above, like hoofy if I've interpreted correctly. It's as much about the journey as the destination.
What's more, unlike others above, I'm too selfish to help others so it's purely self gratification if I'm honest.

Good luck with the '86! The 350Z is a fine car as well, I do like the sound of them.I'm with a few above, like hoofy if I've interpreted correctly. It's as much about the journey as the destination.

Anyway if everyone wants to move to a winter challenge stick your names down and we will get a new set of threads going over the weekend.

It's remarkably simple isn't it? Easy it's not.
It certainly isn't easy , it's a sh!t load of hard work, but totally worth it. Actually makes me pissed off now when I see people posting threads about wanting to lose x ammount in a ridiculous amount of time, certainly possible if you got some sort of tropical disease, but not reccomended, and you'd probably be a funny shape at the end.LordGrover said:
You can now chop in the 'stang for a nice little smart.

What are your plans now ?
Starting personal training on Tuesday, my aim is to cut the fat, then bulk, then tone.Ultimately I aim to be Duane Johnson sized (not fast5 huge, more walking tall huge) in 2 years. Unrealistic I know as he has had years of training and proffesional help, but it gives me something to aim for.
