I haven't seen any, sorry. It does stand to reason though - viral infection, strongly affecting the CV system. Covid is such a new disease they don't unerstand it at all, but the basics described are what has caused my issues.
In my 20's being imortal and all that, I played rugby with a chest infection. That ended up as myocarditis and pneumonia, we think that cased scaring on the heart. Which now causes this....
Good luck.

Loads of p waves in the graphs suggesting that this is sinus and not AF at all. What appears to be irregularity is actually ectopics. However the bottom graph shows a rhythm of 150-300 if it’s standard measurement. This needs adenosine or electricity ASAP imho.
Interesting, let me have a read up on this, thank you. Bottom graph - both pills, sat down an 30mins later was back at 90bpm. The bpm was showing 210-250 during measurement. I think I have a graph showing 216 average somewhere around. Another update.
Sunday sucked a bit, chest/muscle discomfort from them having to shock the heart several times during the process (I believe). By Monday that had gone.
The hip feels congested but the colouring of the hematoma is starting to go.
Aside from that, I'm starting to get bored, which won't go well (I'm notorious for pushing myself). Therefore I'm trying to be mindful of this and taking my time.... All in all, no complaints.

Hi all, checking in. I'm now 3 weeks past the operation and feeling better and better, Except I have had two long AF episodes (both 24 hours after drinking a cocktail with whisky in?) Normally my AF passes in 30 minutes, but these two events were 2 and 3 hours respectively.
Doctor seems quite happy and the beta blockers did their job eventually.
Aside from that, I am having great difficulty finding a wearable heart monitor that actually works. Polar Vantage claimed I was at 50-65bpm when I was actually 145-165bpm. Whoop straps kept telling me to exercise directly after an event (useful). Both have been returned.... Does anyone have first hand experience of a good watch/wrist based HRM?
Cheers, hope all are well.

24 hour holter will probably show nothing. AF isn't a performing seal (but it is a bloody primadona!). Invest in a Kardia device - https://www.alivecor.co.uk/ - this is what has allowed the doctors to properly diagnose me.
Either that or try to give your body a good thrashing during the holter test - salt, booze, dried meats, stress, fatigue, dehydration.![smile](/inc/images/smile.gif)
As for size - I'm not far away from you and yes. Problem is AF will leave you feeling shattered - what do you do when you are that tired? Sit on your arse and eat food. Weight gain is one of the side effects of AF.

My fresh advice - make sure you have positive pressure on the femoral hole whenever you move (for the first 24 hours). Have loose fitting clothing to get into when leaving the hospital and don't be afraid to ask for help. Don't put on socks, or attempt to get the compression socks off yourself.
Going home, make sure you have an easy car to get into and out of - do not rush this. I say this as I obviously leaked out of mine - the bruise went across the entire leg and halfway down it. That's over a square foot of bruising.
For the next 48 - sit on your arse and be waited on. The second day your chest may feel like crap in a muscular way (it feels like the inside of your chest played a rugby match by itself). Mine cleared quickly.
Gently start moving after that. You will feel weak and easily tired for the next two weeks.
Finally, good luck. I was sh*****g myself privately, but it was all good.
