Don’t read this forum very often and sorry to read about your condition.
I enjoy your posting on the animals thread, especially the chicken one.
Hope things are sorted soon.
TY Gary, v kind. There's much updating required to that thread, which would require far too much thinking about considering my current limited head space! Instead I've posted you below a couple of pics of two of the new (none original) runs.I enjoy your posting on the animals thread, especially the chicken one.

The handsome golden boy is a Brahma, supposedly one of the largest hen breeds around (and anticipating sideways pics,.....,.)

Don’t reply if it’s too much trouble as your going through a lot. Just wanted to say I can’t work due to CV19 restrictions till 24/08/20 and am based in Worcestershire. If there’s anything I can do to help you just ask. We’re a weird bunch with differing views but we are a community also.
Many thanks Mike. JJ55 said:
So sorry you’re still poorly fermit. Have you had all the scans yet?
I have, and they showed nothing of concern. The next step is I'm due an appointment with a psychiatrist, as well as seeing if the heart monitor shows up anything. I really have no clue what these episodes are, but they are bloody horrible. dandarez said:
Just read this thread. Good luck to you and a recovery asap. Re your drink intake, cut it down! As for vaping, who knows the risks yet?
Not much else I can add except...
'Keep your pecker up!' (Brit definition, not US!).
Talking of peckers, here's your pics right way up (now with two thumbsnap logos but don't detract the shots).

Again, the best of luck from a fellow PH'r.
Thanks for that, posted for the PH'r who enjoyed the chicken thread. RE the drink, I mentioned some weeks ago about drastically cutting back, mentioned 90%. That's probabky a bit optimistic, but I used to have a bottle of wine fri/sat/sun and a handful of beers on weekday evenings. I now have just 1 bottle of wine a week and mix up Becks Blue with the real stuff. I'm having far less no doubts. Not much else I can add except...

In indication of how I;m not 'right'. This message has seen Deadpool 2 paused for nearly 20 minutes. It's pissing me off.
And I'm not quitting the vapes, after 20(+) Marlboro Reds a day since 14 y/o, nicotine is the drug I can'rt cope without!

I have no idea what your medical advice is, but if they are suggesting you quit I would reconsider your perspective on that. You’re 42 not 92, there are so many good years of your life ahead of you. RDMcG said:
How are you doing?..you always seemed like a positive kind of person indeed.........hope you are improving![smile](/inc/images/smile.gif)
Not great TBH. The twitching hands and eyes are now prevalent, and my concentration and ability to construct dialogue (either written or spoken) is often somewhat hindered. Also, rather horridly, the majority of nights I'm having quite dark nightmares. ![smile](/inc/images/smile.gif)
Work is on pause, and it's looking likely I'm going to shut the business, as anything work wise fills me with dread and brings on great panic. Even the phone ringing an unknown number gets my heart racing.
A small positive is that I'm focusing my efforts elsewhere, with an aim to give myself 'purpose'. We are mid house renovation (an 1875 terrace) and also have a million and one jobs to undertake on my wifes allotments and poultry runs (a good 1/3 acre)
Accordingly I am undertaking these tasks, and turning things around job by job is at least providing me some fulfillment.
Thank you for asking after me, and it's frustrating that I can't provide a more positive reply.
RE counselling. I had my first (remote) session on Thursday just gone, I only managed to complete 60 of the 90 minutes. I have had near constant ringing in my ears since this crap came about, and it increased to the point that I had very little ability to focus.
Other than this the doctor has upped my Setraline dose from 30mg up to 100.

Sorry to hear that your symptoms aren't improving.
Has anything happened in terms of further medical investigations/tests/results?
The MRI scan was clear, ruling out a TIA (IIRC I mentioned some pages ago? Not a dig BTW.....) Has anything happened in terms of further medical investigations/tests/results?
When I last episode came about the paramedic suspected I'd experienced a severe anxiety attack.

Fermit,
Hope things are improving for you. The brain is a strange, wonderful and powerful thing mine has given me grief a few times. In counselling I was told that thoughts don’t physically exist you can take your mind wherever you want to. So when unpleasant thoughts occur you can go to a nice place of your own choosing. Not easy to do sometimes but you should try it.
I was also pointed towards these self help guides the beauty of which is you can work through them when it suits you not at a time the medics want you to. Hopefully some may help you and others on here. It WILL get better if you try. Good luck fella

Another thing Fermit, try not to forget Sarah in all this. She must be worried/terrified too. I’m sure she must be a great support to you but try to do a few things for her in appreciation too. It’s hard not to be thinking only of yourself in such circumstances but if you can maybe buy her some flowers/crocs or do her a nice dinner if you can manage it. You’ll get through it together.

Very true, and without wishing to appear self-congratulating I'm one step ahead, sussed this some time ago. Whilst my business is on hold (maybe permanently) I have taken the decision that I am going to undertake the many DIY tasks needed to be done on our mid renovation 145 year old house (to negate trades mans bills) ebay'ing the much surplus items we possess (to raise £) and undertake the million jobs needed to be done on her allotments, and approaching 50 birds (poultry) runs.Do try the anxiety online help booKlee.
So far, in the last week, I'm about half way through renovating the bathroom, and via watching youtube vids and Googling I've learnt how to fit bath and sink taps, repair buggered floorboards, and straighten a crooked door. All nonsense jobs, but all ones we would have needed to pay someone to sort.
She is increasingly understanding of the predicament, and very supportive. I do what I can for her, and hope she understands this s

And it's been a while since I last bought her flowers (a gesture she loves) I should do so tomorrow.
