Day 4 complete.
Cardio Recovery.
Basically 35 mins of Yoga / Stretching.
Feeling much more at ease this morning. Muscles are not feeling as stiff and sore which is good. Should put me in good stead for tonights workout.
Never been one for stretching and flexibilty so it did come hard last night and I couldn't hold some of the stretches for the period of time required but I pushed my self to as much as I could do.
Eating well and got my diet to the plan required. Feeling much better with my body already only after a few days so hopefully come monday when I weigh I might see an improvement.

day 5 and 6 are complete.
Today was cardio Abs. Feeling under worked out tonight to be honest. It was only about 16 minutes long. Yes some exercises I couldn't hold for as long etc but it just seemed to be over very quickly.
Rest day tomorrow then weigh in monday morning and back at it for week 2.
Feeling good!

First week over.
Weighed this morning and good news. Now standing at 12 stone 0 and 3/4. So exactly 4 pound lost so pretty pleased with this.
However ...
Looking at the plan for tonight I did notice that on Saturday I should of done a different workout than I did. So not sure how I mixed that up but back on track tonight, feeling refreshed after a day off so ready to go. Only 8 more weeks to go!

Did you genuinely give it 100%? Maybe do the workout twice next time?Today was cardio Abs. Feeling under worked out tonight to be honest. It was only about 16 minutes long. Yes some exercises I couldn't hold for as long etc but it just seemed to be over very quickly.

Like I said in my next post. I done the incorrect workout on saturday. The Ab workout is just a bolt on so to speak to other workouts thats why I didn't feel like I done much saturday night. Not sure how I over looked it but must of just read the plan wrong. So got to put in extra effort tonight. And yes I have given 110% every workout so far. I have dripped of sweat and been stiff most of the week. Even with extra stretches and supplements to help reduce this.fatpasty said:

It's easy to misread plans. You've given 110%? You've broken the laws of maths?
Nope. Just haven't had chance to log on.
Day 9 yesterday.
Pure Cardio. Was a killer again. The workout is about 39 minutes I believe first 9 is warm up and the next 10 is stretches and then it is about 16/17 minutes of just non stop cardio work. 1 minute per exercise. Doesn't sound a lot but it gets you going!!
Pleased with my progress so far though. Eating correctly, following the plan.
I've got the recovery session tonight so that was about 35 mins of yoga basically so that should be good. But I've got preseason footie training tonight as well which is a cross country run for about 45 minutes. So this is extra to the programme. So got that then the recovery session after so should be dead later tonight.
Will keep you posted on the progress will take photos after this week to compare to the first lot.
Don't worry I'm not giving up that easily!

I have trouble even completing the day 2 workout, I end up stopping half way only to feel sick, light headed and want to throw up, and then I end up with muscle soreness for 3days after.
I'm not sure if its a case of being unfit and maybe doing some other workout or wondering if I should keep at it despite the soreness & nausea as there's that whole 'no pain, no gain'/dig deep thing about it.

If I may it sounds like you maybe a tad unfit and are trying to jump in at the deep end. I'm not sure if its a case of being unfit and maybe doing some other workout or wondering if I should keep at it despite the soreness & nausea as there's that whole 'no pain, no gain'/dig deep thing about it.
The key to improving is trying to make progress each time you train from either doing a extra few minutes or adding more weight to a exercise, if you can't complete it, set yourself a goal to do a little more each time.

When i was on holiday in st Kitts they had American TV and this was regularly advertised. it looks like it would work but its all about commitment and having the space at home to do it. Personally I think it would bore me to tears. i hope it works for you.
Got to disagree I've done it in my front room to learn the moves for lessons I take, the reason I learnt the format is due to people finding it interesting on lessons. It's different, you need no equipment and a spare 40minutes.garrykiller said:

It's anything but boring to be honest. Your so wrapped in to pushing yourself to the max that you forget about the time and before you know it, it's over and your blowing and puring with sweat. 10 days down so far.

Indeed. I made up my own 30-40 minutes routine (depends on the day). I once swore I'd rather do some kind of sport than abstract exercises such as calisthenics or weight lifting but when you've got a countdown timer running and you have a goal to achieve, you will move your arse. (I do have an audio book playing in case I do get bored.)
I personally find sports (save for wrestling and UFC) boring, whereas random exercise (like crossfit) I find interesting.Good luck with winning all the sports.
