Overdosing - curiosity, not suicidal.

The older anti-histamines used to use your liver to produce the anti-histamine compound. I discovered that my old Triludan hay fever tablets could kill you if you drank grape fruit juice and had a weak heart. Very strange, but they used to make me sick after drinking just 2 pints!

I've been taking them daily for most of a couple of decades (along with the occasional livener here & there ;D) and I'm not dead yet. Aside from a tiny bit of additional sleepiness when very goosed to start off with, can't say I've noticed any impact when on the sauce. Certainly not as interesting as co-codamol and the like,

Anti-histamines work differently now as they can make the compound in a tablet, without needing your liver to do the work!

Not sure of the quantities involved but it did the job and it wasn't accidental so quite a bit I imagine.
