Cheers lads
To be honest I've probably done it abit too quickly three off it is in the last three months
My tips.
As I'm writing this I've been on the rower in the shed for 20 now I'm on exercise bike for 30 mins
It's been very easy so far and I'm under no illusions I could easily lose another 4 and I will try to as well
All it needs is that one click that one line the one thought to be erased and another reprogrammed into your mind and your away
I'd be the first in the beer isle at the shops then the chocolate them the crisps now I look at the clothes bit first
Junk food doesn't enter my head
Those first couple of weeks don't listen to the doubters and the piss takers just use your anger against them
And keep busy and keep focused. Lock the downstairs up at 830 after abit of exercise and watch tv in bed you wont be nipping into the kitchen every half an hour because its downstairs
Something's just clicked
Now I look at the tAkeaways in the food section and they look disgusting

I'm asking myself this: where do I go from here? I'm sustaining target weight but as I've slimmed from 14st1 to 12st7, give or take a few pounds after a weekend of a few larger, more calorific meals - do I up the game and shed another 7 to get to 12st dead.
In doing so I'd be further within the healthy bmi area but would maybe look and feel a little too light. Family and friends have said 'no more' but I know I could shift more body fat for health reasons.
I think if I did do that it'd be a challenge as I've cut back about as much as I want to and am already doing as much cv as I'm comfortable with.
What to do?

Firstly, well done on the losses!
The "stats" say I shouldn't be more than 82kg for the 'healthy BMI', but I'm sure I'd look very ill if I dropped that low, and my gym instructor's confirmed that.
Only you can tell what you'll be comfortable with. If you dropped to 12st and then decided it was a step too far, it's not too difficult to bulk up again.
I do think, however, that once you've lost weight and start to feel 'comfortable' or pleased with yourself, there are 2 ways you can go,
- putting the weight back on again, or,
- going too far, becoming addicted to the training and actually looking worse for it. (Apologies to those people here who have perhaps 3-4% B.F., but it's not for me )
It's possibly more difficult to find a "happy size" and maintaining it.

I suppose it depends what you've done to achieve the loss.
I'm very happy with IF and see fat loss as a nice side effect of eating more healthily. Once I get to the 'correct' weight I'll stop losing weight - I'm not expecting to change anything - it'll just level out.
If however, you've done so via the conventional restrictive diet route it may be more difficult to establish a new 'norm' without yo-yoing.

I take your points. Thanks.
My diet was quite good to begin with. I've just cut the takeaways and stopped the booze all together apart from every couple of weekends.
I've actually enjoyed my food more as a result of the vibrancy I've introduced in to our mealtimes. Think bright herb salads and grilled marinated fish or meats.
I've never seen it as a diet as such, just a change in lifestyle. I'd feel a fool putting it back on and that won't happen.
I think I'll stick around 12 st 7 as that seems to be sustainable for my size and sees me at 32/32 trousers comfortably.
Good thread.
