Had a go at a 100m today. 17.5 seconds.
No technique whatsoever, I was mostly unable to stay on the seat. I won't be making a habit of these.
Try some 30:30 - they're 'fun'. 30s max effort, 30s rest. Rinse and repeat for 10-20 mins. Be careful of form though. No technique whatsoever, I was mostly unable to stay on the seat. I won't be making a habit of these.
I have done so much sprint rowing this week my legs haven't another 500m in them. I did 500 after the 100 this morning and it felt more like 5k.

Oddly yes I had those planned for next week at some point. I know how to have a good time.

The related joy is 1:3 500m. Once again more 'fun', better if 2 others are there to 'enjoy'. I have done so much sprint rowing this week my legs haven't another 500m in them. I did 500 after the 100 this morning and it felt more like 5k.
Just 500m as fast as poss, then the 2 others turn. Aim for as many sub 1:30 as poss. Puking is compulsory. TBF not done this for a long time, so I'd guess I'd be 1 x sub 1:30 then 3 months in hospital
Been away for a couple of weeks... but back on it heavy this week to try and balance it and monstered through 62k so far. Takes me to a little over 340k. TBH the mileage counting is pretty boring now - it's very much a matter of when not if we complete the 1000k. What's more frustrating is how 2 weeks off seems to have taken me back nigh on a month in fitness if heart rate is to be believed. Need to perhaps do some bodyweight circuits or something when away. Anyone go to HORR last weekend? Boat race this weekend as well on Sunday.

The time is most relevant. How else can I beat myself if I don't worry about the time?!

No, it's not a very good time when compared to blokes who row enough to bother posting times on the C2 site. But if you want a more realistic comparison, go back to the machine you rowed on, go into memory, select by distance and see how you compare. The best type of competition - against myself.
