113.3kg, down from 116kg on the 1st.

Considering I still haven’t been able to do the ‘move more’ bit since the 4th because of this horrible cold I’ve got, I’m happy with that.

I’m eating a lot less than I was and amazingly I’m not hungry like I would be. Not had a single bit of fast food or a takeaway this year which is a miracle considering my office, where everyone is young and thin and just eats, constantly.

My target weight calls for a 0.4kg loss per week for the year so I’m still ahead of the curve.

clap Well done Rob, good progress there. I'm expecting quite a big drop next check-in as I had a highly unusual (for me) fever type thing yesterday which saw me laid up in bed most of the day and the rest of the day retching up the contents of my empty stomach in the sink vomit. Seems to be a bad reaction to the flucloxacillin antibiotic tablets I'm taking at the moment to get rid of cellulitis in my leg. I didn't eat a single thing yesterday.

Now 8 days in despite feeing tired at some times I’m generally feeling a lot better, got on the scales again this morning and had lost a further 0.8kg since the prior weigh in, now 3.8kg lighter than I was 8 days ago!

Hopefully if today’s food shop was anything to go by it’ll hopefully get better still!

Using up the first meal gift of Christmas last night, this week’s cheat meal.

Pint of Peroni
Ribeye steak with peppercorn sauce & chunky chips
Chocolate cheesecake
Moscow mule
2 Coronas

Felt damn good after 10 days of carefully calorie monitoring everything.

Fell off the healthy food wagon a little this weekend:
Fish and chips; and carrot cake yesterday
And today my Australian housemate returned back with a bounty of Aussie crap food goodness. Damn you Shapes; and Tim Tams!!

HIIT class tomorrow morning, back with healthy eating..

Tried to stay on track this weekend, but was always going to be hard as I was with mates replacing springs on one of their E36's, and as a result got bought a kebab. I went for Chicken Shish with no salad and no sauce, I'm guessing that was the least unhealthy option I could have gone with? (apart from saying no, obviously wink )

Doing shorter days at work this week so will hopefully have more time in the evening for meal prep and training on the bike smile

Sunday evening cooking session with my good lady knocking up some breakfasts for this week.

2 banana oat pancakes, 60g unsweetened coconut yoghurt, 80g frozen berries = 360 calories

2 ham & cheese quinoa cups = 200 calories

60g porridge oats, 15g golden syrup, 30g blueberries = 290 calories [not in picture obviously]

All 3 variants happily keep me going until lunch.

Seems to be a "gin win" theme in the Wiki wrt weight loss. Though I think I forgot a meal yesterday so my weight might be skewed but urine is clear so it isn't dehydration that has lead to a 4.2kg loss in 10d > fat knacker to start with!

(Yep shamefully I have felt the need to count "units" and am drinking the same amount of alcohol as before, just now it is Gin rather than beer).

Surely the calories come from the alcohol, or are there extra calories in fluids, I really can't work out from Googling!

But top marks to the mate who bought me a "Try Jinuary" still set. For £100 I can make 20 bottles of my own Gin (using cheap Vodka as a base) and the first bottle I made makes much better G&T than Bombay, Hendricks or Sevillia!!!

4.2 kg (9.25 lbs) loss in a week? scratchchin I notice there's a few people posting similar losses but strangely no photo proof of these claimed losses.. scratchchin Not saying it's not possible but that's a huge amount to lose in a week if you're healthy and been eating normally. scratchchin

Hey, if you're using reflective scales, have the decency to put some pants on!

Good week for me last week, but a bad weekend.

Ended up coming out of it 1/4lb up on my starting weight, which is annoying to say the least.

Back on the diet today, hopefully things will start moving in the right direction.

First weekly weigh in with a net loss of 4lbs or 1.8kgs. Not bad considering the weekend was not quite as strict as last week.

I did notice on my bike ride yesterday that I had little energy; the tank felt empty. I'm sure that's due to the low carb regime.

I'm going to have to amend my start weight, I think I was a little optimistic with how much I had put on over Christmas. However the good news is I am getting back into my running and the healthy eating went well this week (other than a couple of scones, must cut out puddings) will have to put the start weight as a midweek weight I took but still means I have dropped 1.4kgs so feels like most of the Christmas weight is coming off easily.

Ugh. Not the great starting week I wanted. Better than the previous, so silver linings and all that, but I am aiming for about 1kg/week and I made a slight gain at the end of the week to 75.9kg.

Must do a bit better. Incremental improvements...

Not the greatest weekend, diet wise. My brother-in-law took us out for our Christmas and his wife's graduation.

On the upside, it was supper club at Tony Singh's house, so was totally worth it hehe

I couldn't finish the cheese course.
