Low testosterone

Thanks, I think i'll avoid OutlookIndia and UK Steroids Shop
It's more to see if this is an Optimale issue or a wider supply problem.
Sure i get what you're saying, but somehow if you want to buy steroids the UK Steroids Shop seems an appropriate place to start. It's more to see if this is an Optimale issue or a wider supply problem.
Testosterone is not expensive, it's not hard to produce, there is no shortage and if Optimale is saying there is the it's because someone wants to charge them inflated prices for bulk and they don't want to pay.

They'll offer you gel or an injection, out of the 2 take the gel.
But, you'd be better off going to a private clinic.
It is highly unlikely the NHS will offer him anything at that level. But, you'd be better off going to a private clinic.
I’ll report back..
Jumping into this thread, I've had all the regular symptoms for a while so I asked my doctor to look into it and to their credit they got me in for bloods very quickly.
My t levels came back as normal (13 I believe she said) and all other results from bloods good.
So basically they can't do anything going forward.
Is this usual for the NHS?

Yeah NHS tend to treat numbers rather than symptoms. My t levels came back as normal (13 I believe she said) and all other results from bloods good.

I had it for a while with them. My levels were a touch into the normal range, by a tiny amount. Eventually had a breakthrough when a couple of tests fell below the normal level.

I have another appointment for T and I planned to ask for the Nebido injections once every 3 months. Just alot more convenient and dont want the risk of passing the gel onto my wife.
Anyone who thinks they have an issue with low testosterone should really tick off the following tasks before contacting a doctor.
Eat well, exercise and sleep well for one month and then take a finger prick blood testosterone test first thing in the morning. Ideally this should be a more comprehensive veinous panel but at this stage a finger in the air figure should be sufficient and is cheap and easy enough to be repeated a couple of times a year.
If this comes back below say 14 nmol/L then do the same healthy living for another month but this time invest in a more complete blood panel like the Full Male Hormone Blood Test from Medichecks - this would need to be a veinous sample drawn first thing in the morning.
If your total test is still below 14 and your free testosterone result comes back in the red (lower than .3 nmol/L) then go book a consultation with a private provider like the Leger clinic if you are still symptomatic. If your free testosterone level is firmly in the green then it is unlikely your symptoms are testosterone related.
And there is no point seeing an NHS doctor unless your T level is in single digits. Very few do well on NHS treatment anyway and those who do would undoubtedly do even better with a more tailored protocol.
Of course all the above is dependant on the individual having enough funds to afford this for the rest of their life.

Not sure if it’s been mentioned in this thread - but a sure fire way to up free test is boron supplementation.

You’re not really going to cross contaminate the gel IMO.

Never had injections but doctor did say it can cause some up and down symptoms. You’re not really going to cross contaminate the gel IMO.
I've never worried about the gel and it rubbing off. I rub it on my shoulders in the morning before getting dressed. It's dried within seconds and then covered and will be absorbed within a couple of hours.
My history: in my 50s now, training for 35 years (naturally) non stop, good diet, competed as a bodybuilder in my teens winning junior south of england, stopped competing when steroids were necessary to remain competitive.
98kg, 5’10, 15% bf and been consistently that for many many years, so you notice when there’s a change when your input hasn’t changed.
Strength started to decrease marginally, motivation to train started to get hard and ive never faultered, osteoarthritis starting to creep in, bf increasing marginally, weight staying the same but obviously muscle mass is decreasing if strength is decreasing, so the increase in fat is off setting the weight loss from muscle loss.
So, i will report back on what action the docs take here or conversely, what action i take, i’d prefer injections tbh as its cleaner and more convenient.
