PH Losers 2019 - Anyone want to join me?
Discussion
Hi all,
Hopefully I'm not too late to join. Currently weigh 135kg which I think is the heaviest I have ever been, planning to keep an eye on what I am eating using MyFitnessPal and cycle as much as possible as my fitness improves.
I have updated the table but if I have done anything wrong please let me know!

So Monday update for start of Week Three: 89.0kg (1.6kg loss since 01/01/2019)
Overall an okay Week Two but had a few upsets. Was without a car as the alternator died so was on the bus all week while waiting for parts to arrive (all fitted on Saturday and driving again ) but that meant going to the gym after work wasn't as easy, still managed to go twice and even do a PB 5k row so that was satisfying!
Had a friend over with my GF on Friday, she brought chocolates but I managed to refrain from having any despite them both scoffing them in front of me. Made me pretty happy I was able to say no! I'm taking every little victory.
Major bad point, takeaway with GF on Sunday night with included fries and rice - not smart but lost weight overall so not so bad. Room for improvement this week!

I've not started yet...mixture of being ill and long hours.
I'm going to cancel my gym membership at Pure Gym and use the work one. Its basic, as in treadmill/bike/rower and some weights, but thats all I use at Pure Gym anyway (and work is open 24/7 anyway!).
I really struggle with my food. It doesn't help I don't like most things, onions, mushrooms are a no go. Bloody loads of things have them in ha.
Found a chicken curry on the Slimming World website that I'm going to give a go...hoping it will give me a couple of days worth of food that I can just stick in the microwave at work.

You [presumably] have to go to work, you don't have to go to the gym. Removes an excuse from not going and saves you money, win win I'm going to cancel my gym membership at Pure Gym and use the work one. I "joined" the local council gym, as in I got the induction and they created a programme for me, essentially so I could use it if I wanted at a few quid a go. Its only a mile or so from my house but it's just an added hassle that using the Mrs. home gym in the spare room doesn't have. Removing any barriers to exercising is a positive step.
As one might expect, a good start to the week. Well on track with food, especially as I've now got lunch for the week, so no excuse to go to Tesco and gorge on sweets or anything. Gym at lunch and a good workout, so now I just need to rehydrate and survive the witching hours between supper and sleep.
Hopefully tomorrow is rinse and repeat, but with veggie chilli instead of today's beef chilli.

Yep! My gym is only up the road (five minute walk), but its always busy. Works gym is quiet and I can go either before the shift or after (or find another excuse not to go...). Oh and the showers are better and don't have to worry about my stuff being stolen. Another week's work of Breakfasts, Lunches and dinners sorted - very similar to last week, all sorted in the work kitchenette with a microwave and boiling water tap:
Breakfast:
100g (pre-cooking) of 5% pork mince made into a patty
3 egg scrambles
cup of spinach wilted
Snacks: "Sainsburys easy peelers" - enough for 1.8 a day while at work
Lunch - total spread over the week:
Mixed leaves
roasted Mediterranean vegetables (pepper, red onion, tomatoes)
Roasted sweet potato cubes (likely 50% of a small sweet potato per portion)
100g turkey mince made into a patty
c.10ml of "ligher" ranch dressing for some taste - small bottle lasts 3-4 weeks
Dinner:
Tonight - same as lunch without the turkey but BBQ marinated chicken and Hallumi instead
Tomorrow - Pork chop on a bed of Kale with some stock-gravy
Wednesday - red onion, pepper, mushrooms and courgette cooked down with tinned tomatoes and herbs - grilled chicken breast on top
Thursday - Open Burrito - 5% mince cooked down and seasoned, black beans, salad, guac and salsa (no rice, only a little cheese)
Friday - Ramen, hopefully......
Trousers are already a good bit looser....and I'm not dribbling as much already! - lets hope it can carry on - just another 23kg to get to the upper bound of my September target
