Would love some info too
You do know you are all basically asking where to source illegal steroids from?

I hope you all know the implications of the route that you are considering.

I was just assuming it was an alternative cheaper source than Optimale

It's shocking the hoops that men have to jump through with HRT compared with females when it comes to being treated or even tested on the NHS.

I tried getting a private prescription based on low levels but wasn't allowed due to being under 40, may get another test then try again with a different company.

There is no age restriction and the private practices are generally fairly easy to get treatment from.

If you were denied treatment then it is highly likely you didn't require it.

Legal to buy and use, so nobody is asking anything that doesnt get asked a million times in gyms across the country.
Not that I would recommend doing so of course, get it from your NHS doctor or a licensed clinic.

Test is legal to possess in the UK for personal use, not to import from a foreign country or sell. Plenty of sources inside the UK sell test. I think you can actually import test but you have to go and physically get it and again show it's for personal use only. Getting it by mail from a foreign is very unlikely to see you prosecuted though smile

Optimale is a cynical rip off IMO. Enanthate for £100 a month (!) for a tiny dose plus consultation fees. Get a blood test, find your levels, do your research, start your TRT, two months later get another test.

I had a look at Optimale a couple of months ago (get loooooads of emails from them now) but it's a lot of money!
I've decided to go down the self sourced route.
Look at Ledger or Mayo clinic. It works out about £30 a month with them. Optimale is outrageous prices.

You’re not really going to cross contaminate the gel IMO.
Never had injections but doctor did say it can cause some up and down symptoms.

I've never worried about the gel and it rubbing off. I rub it on my shoulders in the morning before getting dressed. It's dried within seconds and then covered and will be absorbed within a couple of hours.
Doesn't it stay on your clothes though so your partner would come into contact with it when doing the washing?

I think it largely depends on your treatment TBH regarding which clinic to go with.

I'm with Optimale, mine is about £100 a month for 0.2mls Testosterone Enanthate, and 0.1mls of HCG twice a week.
All other stuff included except the blood tests.

The same thing with Ledger for example is-
£26pm Ledger Clinic Subscriptions
£30pm Testosterone Enanthate
£50pm HCG
£106pm total, plus blood tests, which is broadly comparable to other providers. But if you didn't need HCG then it might be a major saving.

Don't forget to factor in when calculating your 'start up' costs, the costs of the water needed for the HCG, needles, syringes, sharps bucket, alcohol wipes etc. Roughly £75 for my initial setup.

With all that said, i went from a roughly 10 to a 27 with TRT treatment (42 years old) and life in general is just much better.

Hope that helps someone out.

Interesting, my Optimal testosterone dose is 0.15mg and 0.1mg of HCG 3 times a week.

Illegal to sell yes. I was more concerned with the thought of people with no experience jabbing themselves with whatever from whoever and the potential ramifications down the line.

Also, some of these sources sell other stuff, so do you really want to be on a database somewhere with a record of sending money to people of dubious character and with links to organised crime?

Lots of risk with the self sourcing route.

I’m very intrigued to see how much testosterone can be purchased for.

I’m already prescribed it. I would strongly advise anybody who hasn’t been diagnosed from needing it not to use it.

I already buy vitamin B12 through European suppliers.

Oh come on. Where on Earth have you got the "organised crime " bit from? biggrin

The only risk is you'll buy the wrong test ester. What other risk is there? I suppose like anything else do your research first but honestly these labs supply test to tens of thousands each week. They don't get shut down, prosecuted, a bad rap in the press etc etc Why? - because test etc is easy to make and easy to make money from.

Organised crime??

Some people read the Mail too much...

It's the same stuff you get from Optimale, except people bring it home from thier holiday to Egypt or Turkey.

I’m wading into this a little late perhaps.

Two blood tests done two months apart, first was 8.4nmol and second 11nmol. GP aren’t interested in investigating any further as not below the new guidelines.

I still think the levels being as low as they are that it’s contributing to a lower quality of life!

One of my GP conducted blood tests came back at 4 point something, but they still said it's fine because free T was 'within range'. It's a long haul battle with the NHS but you might get there in the end.

As I've said on here previously, it took me 10 years of tests, referrals and nagging to get a testogel prescription and even that was probably luck of the draw of having a new GP. I couldn't afford private.

Firstly, be sure that TRT is what you need. A slightly low level can be raised with diet or habitual changes in many cases.

Mine was very low, I’m now on 0.32ml of Cypionate 3 x a week, 0.1ml of HCG and will now need to take another tablet due to other levels going astray. I’ve had 3 phone consultations and pay £110 a month.

It’s an enormous change and I’m sticking with Optimale till my levels are stable and I’ve got a reliable and repeatable blood test result with what I’m taking.

It really isn’t always as simple as more Testosterone = good till you find your reliable level.

Whatever you do, be methodical and write stuff down so you can track it better and do it the healthy way.

Dave!

0.32ml is quite a big dose. How old are you? Any other complications to take into account?
