So that's 1,392 calories for the day, and according to my Garmin app I burned 650 on the turbo tonight. Definitely getting used to eating less, and mercifully, MFP has a load of chicken recipes on their blog which look pretty good, so will give those a go!

I weigh myself every day and it's interesting to see how things go up and down. I have a set of Garmin smart scales so it saves the numbers to my Garmin connect account without me having to do anything. I've done it almost every day for a couple of years now.
Anyway, I went to see a mate yesterday afternoon, ended up having 3 beers, several large glasses of whisky, a couple of handfuls of Cadburys chocolate eclairs and to top it off a tandoori chicken kebab and some chips. I had a great time.
On the scales this morning and they said I've gained 0.1lb compared to yesterday. What tomorrows results are who knows but I had a good afternoon yesterday.
I was back to clean living today and have been to the gym again.

Good day all in yesterday.
Good food, gym and also some rehab at home for my shinsplints. One issue I had (and have had before) was not eating enough! I got to bed time and was starving hungry, so made myself some toast.
I check the MFP today and it turns out that I was 1000kcal under my goal before the toast. Need to pay more attention when doing exercise and controlling calories. That's what turns into a binge on cake and ice cream!

There was someone earlier in the thread that had this exact same issue and didn't lose any weight because of it. They binned the MFP. Just eat sensibly and you'll lose weight. Eating deliberately because some silly app tells you that you've only eaten half of what a normal male should have eaten is a recipe for disaster.Good food, gym and also some rehab at home for my shinsplints. Of to Yo! Sushi tonight I have no idea weather to classify this as healthy or not lol
Didn't do to bad and stuck mainly to actual Sushi, but ended up having a bowl of cheesy chips as well that i shared with the other half Weighed myself yesterday and i had lost 1lb. Currently walk to work both ways thats 4 miles a day plus trying to go running in the evenings every other day plus running/walking in the mornings at the weekend.
Think biggest issue for me is portion size and my ability to stick to a normal portion size of food and not "snoopy25's" portion of food size lol

The “silly app” uses a variety of factors including plenty of research from respected institutes to set a net calories target for safe weight loss.
He didn’t eat because the app told him to, he ate because he found himself feeling very hungry. The app simply told him he had eaten very little which explained the hunger.

So - a long week and weighed in this morning, dropped 1.3kg.
Have been Eating as best as I can for a week so to be totally honest I did expect more, but a loss is a loss!
Onto the next
That's the same as my loss. That's 3lbs and is very good. Slow and steady is the best approach. Have been Eating as best as I can for a week so to be totally honest I did expect more, but a loss is a loss!

There’s no way a lot of people could be bothered tracking macros if it wasn’t made easy by the “silly app.”
It also doesn’t allow net calories to be set lower than what is considered to be healthy by the National Institutes of Health [1,500/day men, 1,200/day women], nor does it propose daily deficits in excess of -1,000 calories which aligns with -2lb/wk weightloss.
So to have a 1,500 calorie budget for cake and ice cream would be some effort.

I'm managing to stick to low carbs really religiously and am not finding myself hungry at all.
I am also back cycling to and from work this week - so have added an hour of exercise and 600 calories burnt to the equation. It also means I am sleeping better, and get an extra 30 minutes in bed!
Another discovery this week was broccoli "rice" bung half a head in the food processor and then pan fry what comes out in a hot pan for 4 minutes - really tasty and goes well with the M&S curries that have less than 20g carbs in them (Prawn Makhani and Chicken Saag). It means if I am late home I can have a relatively quick ready meal without screwing up low carb.
I also did a pee test for ketosis last night and am happily confirmed to be in it.
Weighed in this morning at 94.6Kg so down 4.4kg in two weeks (well 13 days).
