I’m seeing more masks around in the last few days.

Presumably these are people who are reacting to something …
Displaying long term mental health problems because of the fear created by the 'experts' over the last 2 years?
In the last few days? No.

54yo, 3xVax, healthy. One afternoon in bed with unpleasant fever. Some headaches, but nothing serious. A bit of a cough. Basically a non-event.

Other than the fatigue/tiredness that is! I keep having to lie down and sleep for 2-3 hours. Nearly 10 days of this now. It’s become a proper PITA….

I have never been one for sleeping during the day, or just feeling so tired. When will it end…?

Took genuinely weeks for me to get back to normal.

Kept thinking I was nearly there, then a couple of weeks later I’d be thinking “NOW I’m nearly better”, and so on and so forth…

I had it in early March and the tiredness has only really subsided properly in the last few weeks. In the first few weeks post covid I was in bed for 7pm most nights.

The only symptom I have now is tiredness/fatigue. (First negative test was Tuesday).

Sleeping 10 hours a night, spending most of the day on the sofa then back to bed at 9:00pm and asleep pretty much instantly.

Really hoping to get my energy back soon.

Late 30's fit/active, don't drink or smoke, vaccinated x2 and boosted.

Managed to escape covid for the whole pandemic. Felt quite tired on Tuesday, nothing out of the ordinary, had been a particularly physical day at work. Did a test as wondered if it was 'my turn' Negative. Went to bed early.

Cough started during early hours of Wednesday, woke up with a stinking headache. Tested and got two dark lines straightaway.

As Wednesday progressed, along came the very high temperature, sweats/chills. Floored. Will say it's the most ill i've felt with anything. Wife said I didn't move at all in bed for 14 hours.

Thursday, much the same except I could barely walk a few yards without needing to sleep for an hour afterwards.

Friday, high temperature, sweats/chills all gone. Still very very tired. Sore limbs and little short of breath.

Today, little tired with what i'd describe as a mild head cold. Can now walk about almost as normal. Seem to be over the worst of it now.

Sense of taste and smell all working just fine.

Covid update from earlier, unjabbed. I Went to the O2 on Tuesday, on Thursday I I am started to feel like I had the beginnings of a cold.

Friday felt a little worse and the only reason I suspected it might be Covid is I had a slight headache. Did a test and to my surprise both red lines quickly appeared.

Felt a bit worse in the evening so went to bed early, spent Saturday in bed watching the F1 qualifying and Formula W race, got up about 3pm had a shower and then started to felel a lot better. Felt really hot whilst in bed last night although my body felt cold

Woke up this morning feeling almost back to normal.

Felt like a weak cold to me with a four out of ten headache and very slight fever.

I’m around 3 days in… 55, fit and healthy, double jabbed no booster.

The sore throat is horrible… could barely speak when I woke up this morning... aggravated by an occasional cough that feels like it’s in my throat. Also have crippling lower back pain.

But the thick head and feeling hot/cold have pretty much gone now.

Not slept 12-14 hours straight in decades!

I’m 42 and double jabbed. Healthy with no other issues. After 2.5 years of assuming I was immune or asymptomatic (spent the last couple of years still working in London, on Tube trains, in pubs, offices, etc.

Feel absolutely rotten, but no idea if it’s Covid, a bad cold, or some other virus, as I’m away and have no test kits.

Absolutely shattered. The most tired I have ever felt. Almost collapsed after mostly being on my feet for 2-3 hours pretending I was ok.

Aching all over and my skin hurts, my eyeballs hurt, my neck is aching.

Really sore cough and a dry cold.

Can’t stop shaking like mad and feeling freezing cold.

Slept 11 hours last night.

Horrible. Luckily I’m off work this week.

Had Covid twice, symptoms are less pronounced the second time around. Common denominator is the fatigue / brain fog which is definitely noticeable.

Past week felt a bit off, mostly sneezing and blocked nose which I’ve put down to hay fever as taking anti histamines seems to sort that out. Also had very very mild sore throat and headache. Today I started feeling fatigued.

Did quick test today and it’s negative so not too sure if I’ve caught covid again. Perhaps the fatigue / brain fog is from the anti histamines and lack of proper sleep.

Ah, you'll be alright. Stop being soft.

If not, I'd say it will be monkeypox. smile

Was in a large busy supermarket earlier .only 2 people wearing masks one of which was the chap on the till .kept thinking I should just go back to car for a mask even if I do look the odd one out who cares .I just thought to myself why am I here when at least a few people would be spreading it without realising.and no idea where those few or more people are amongst the shoppers .

Seems like part of is if boris was to reintroduce restrictions he would be even less popular and a lot of people simply wouldn’t listen it after the party scandals and other examples of bad leadership

Sunday was Day 7 of Covid for me

First time I've (known) to be infected

2x AZ followed by a Moderna booster in November 2021 (8 months ago)

Pub Friday
Headache Monday night
Headache and Sniffles Tuesday - Tested positive lateral flow
Less symptoms Wednesday but a "Weird" chest - Strong positive lateral flow
Lost sense of Taste & Smell Friday - Less positive lateral flow
Still lacking taste/smell, but no other symptoms Sunday - Faint positive lateral flow

Wonder how long till I test negative. My guess would be by Wednesday (so a full 10 days)

Finally got my hands on a test… and it’s positive.

FFS…

Last night was awful! Woke up and didn’t know where I was, completely confused, imagining all kinds of weird things, and the bedding was absolutely soaked through. Like someone had poured a jug of water over me.

So after 2.5 years of thinking I must be immune or asymptomatic, it got me, and it got me real good.

I’m about 14 days after coming down with it. Still feeling really tired all the time and can’t shake the blocked nose.

Currently in Menorca where masks are mandated on public transport, oddly not on the plane over though.

Last night an English couple sat down next to our table seperated by glass, we were outside they were inside (not some silly partition thing), they were both masked but removed them upon sitting down for dinner, he put his on the floor and she hung hers up on the table plant!

Also if they were that bothered why did they not sit outside in the fresh air, apart from those 2 I've only seen a few others, like a handful.
