Annoyingly, I seem to have been left with post covid headache. It wakes me every day like the worst hangover ever - can’t be my pillows otherwise i would have had them for ages, not just the last 2 days.
Not alcohol related as I haven’t had any..
Googled it and it seems to be a “thing”. Could last 3 weeks.
I didn’t know it was a thing, but I have the same… 10 days since I 1st tested positive, all the symptoms ended 4-5 days ago… except for the permanent headache and some fatigue. Not alcohol related as I haven’t had any..

Starting to get irritating.
well i finally have it and all i have is a snuffly nose a bit of lethargy and not much sense of taste/smell
dunno what everyone else was complaining about![wink](/inc/images/wink.gif)
Also I'm not hungry at all and also I dont feel full when eating either despite just eating a decent sized meal I don't feel any different to before I ate it

I tested negative last week, having been positive for two weeks. Was reasonably fit, running 5-6 times a week but was flat out with it for 3 days then just tired with a cold for the rest.
Feel absolutely fine now, except the running is like I'm starting from scratch... HR is 6-7 beats above where it should be and pace is about 30s / km slower as well. Easy paced runs feel really hard, so I guess it's going to take a while to fully recover.

My brother got it, he has a temp and cough for a few days but said it was like a mild flu/cold.
Funny thing is when the full cv19 onslaught was on he always wore a mask, even bought his own drink and sandwich's around to my house.
Now he just goes out, wears a mask but the attitude changed massively.

IIRC 'marathon runners no longer being able to walk up stairs' was a thing for a while. Feel absolutely fine now, except the running is like I'm starting from scratch... It might be that people aren't giving their body a chance to rest and recover fully, so personally speaking, I'd just have a few weeks off. If you're tracking your heart rate, could be worth checking it at rest and seeing if/when it gets back to pre-covid rates (if you have 'before' data to use and/or if it hasn't already done so).
Did 30 mins on my peloton this afternoon.
340kj/189 watts at a strive of 49 - strive is calculated from time spent in 5 Heart rate zones across the class.
Previously, a typical 30 mins would have been around 240 watts, 415-430kj at a similar strive (cardio effort).
So I’ve lost a bit over 20% of my aerobic fitness in under 2 weeks.
Perceived effort was much higher, and I could easily have thrown up at around 20 mins in if I hadn’t eased back.
Still not tested negative yet, but other that fatigue and a semi permanent headache I don’t feel that bad.

Is anyone else with Covid or just after Covid having days where they feel pretty good and on the mend, but then the next day inexplicably they feel rough, achey and headachey again?
Yesterday I was feeling pretty good, less achey, not much of a headache but this morning it feels like I've got a massive hangover and had a terrible sleep, headaches, muscle aches and lethargic again. But I slept a good 8 hours solid, been eating and drinking healthily. What is going on?!

Caught it for the first time myself, felt a little off Friday, just tired, did a test Friday evening came back as negative and felt fine, had a few drinks Friday night, woke up Saturday morning with the headache from hell, just constant and pounding, thought it seemed a bit much for a few drinks, then felt tired, aching all over, tried to rest a few hours, woke up yesterday and felt fine so far since, although still testing strongly positive.

Very much so, had it well over a month ago now, some days when I feel absolutely fine and others where I'm completely drained from the moment I wake up. No pattern to it, amount of sleep seems to make little difference.Yesterday I was feeling pretty good, less achey, not much of a headache but this morning it feels like I've got a massive hangover and had a terrible sleep, headaches, muscle aches and lethargic again. I was fairly fit before but I'm really struggling to do enough to actually build it back up. I could walk 20+ miles a few weeks before COVID, now just walking around the supermarket is pretty draining!
Yes this is all very strange, I am hardly ever ill, I don't even know what to do with myself when I'm ill, been resting all weekend, working again today (at home), but the ebb and flow of it is hard to get my head around.
Another strange thing - I'm fully vaccinated, so is my mum, uncle, aunt, my partner, her parents and my immediate work colleagues. Yet in the last 2 weeks, all of those people have contracted Covid having never had it at all thus far since the pandemic began, and we hadn't mixed in recent times apart from me and my partner.

What’s strange? When I had it 12 months ago I (and my wife) had good/bad days durning the first 2 weeks and then it took at least another 2 weeks to recover my fitness. But not as bad an experience as the flu I had many years ago.Another strange thing - I'm fully vaccinated, so is my mum, uncle, aunt, my partner, her parents and my immediate work colleagues. And what’s strange about a bunch of vaxxed people catching it, as if the vax makes a blind bit of difference as to whether (when) you catch it. There’s obviously quite a few people in your area with it at the moment. Nothing strange.
Started feeling fatigued with some aching at around 3pm Friday. Since 6pm Friday ive been in bed with a terrible fever, temperature always above 38 degrees but teeth chattering for hours on end. No cold symptoms though like sore throat/blocked nose.
Fever seems to have gone as of last night but feel absolutely shattered along with aches and pains all over.
I didnt catch it at all until 4 weeks ago which was more like a cold, but this one is pretty bad.
