Male and female vanity has a lot to answer for.
We are all different. Just try to make the best of what you have, with the time and effort available/that you are prepared to give it.
It's better for life to be about what you do with it, with less emphasis on perceived "image" -what you think you look like or what you own.

Fit for purpose is a better goal IMO, someone getting fit for cycling isn't going to look like someone getting fit for gymnastics or boxing or whatever.

Different strokes for different folks- some people do actually enjoy the training and the resulting physiques. I train because I love it- I boxed, then did Mauy Thai because I enjoyed it. I trained for strength and competed because I loved it, now I train for Bodybuilding as I wanted a new aim, and I love doing this too. I enjoy spending time 'sculpting' my body.We are all different. I was trying to give a response to the original poster. I suspect that he is fine, looks fine, and is wasting his time worrying about something that isn't worth worrying about. Some of the posts on here strike me as the sort of post that will make him feel even more insecure.
The point is, there is no all-round "ideal".
In the same camp you OP, 190lbs 6' 1" and broad shouldered but originally had quite a small frame so I have skinny girl wrists so I look quite light. I've been up to 210lbs at my heaviest and still looked slim.
Of course it's all relative and the only people that think of me as being a waif are giant fat bd men or gym tan laundry morons. Don't worry about it.

You should be wearing medium slim fit if you don't want to look too skinny in clothing.
Anyways, you have a build that most people (including me) would love so stop ya moaning!
I am 5'11" and was about 12.5 stone, as with you, never looked huge as I'm a reasonably slight frame. in the end I gave up and have lost the 3/4 stone I struggled to keep on as I was constantly eating and the sports I like, cycling and running were hampered by an additional 6-7kg of unnecessary muscle.

I'm a similar height and weight, lean and don't feel weedy, too heavy or inadequate.
I actually wear Medium or Large T shirts (in my late 30s I would look silly in tight tops) and have a 32" waist, but large legs - difficult to buy trousers.
When I look around I see most men of my age with big guts, if not double chins. I am pleased that I don't look like that.
There really is no need to look like Arnie!

Doing lots of cross country running the past few years I seem to be carrying my extra weight in my legs.
6' and 13.5st. Skinny fat torso. With 3 months off running due to a foot injury, I'm still finding regular trousers in Banana Republic with a 33'waist fit me fine in the waist, but are like leggings around my calves.
With the foot injury I've now moved to 'pumping iron' so I'm likely to get heavier, hinder my running when I restart, but hopefully look better in thegym pub.
Living in Asia, sizes are all over the place, used to only be XL t-shirt to not be tight on a little belly fat, moving to large t-shirts now though.

I’ve been thinking a bit regarding some of the comments over the past week, and in the real world I’ve had a flurry of compliments regarding my physique from people in various walks of life (and believe me I don’t fish for them).
I’ve realised that I’m actually in really good shape, in fact I think I have a lot to be grateful for. Nobody’s perfect, but I’m a damn sight better off than a lot of people imo.
I’ve got the masculine height, the metabolism to sustain a high intake (clean!) diet, and now I’ve got just the right amount of muscle to look lean and athletic.
Not only that but I'm not all that brutal with my workouts, just 45 minutes three times a week (plus warmup). I get lazy from time to time and go home early on occasion
I started going the gym because I hated my body, I now go there because I love it. If only I started doing this many years ago when I was 18.
Also to the person saying I shouldn’t be wearing large shirts, medium sometimes fits me round the torso but the arms are always too short!

Hey everyone its been almost 7 months but I'd like to put up an update.
This may make people laugh but I've always thought I was 6'1, I got measured the other day and I'm actually closer to 6'3. I think those extra 2 inches will justify my complaint about why I felt skinny even with a bit more weight on.
Unfortunately shortly after my last post I had to have an operation and could not return to the gym for 7-8 weeks, then due to a change of circumstances I couldn't go the gym as frequently and I also lost my appetite so wasn't getting my calorific intake.
Now I've still got a bit of muscle on me and my strength hasn't really gone but I'm down to 74kg and with an unhealthily low amount of body fat, you can quite easily see my ribs.
All the larger clothes I bought are a bit loose now. Oh well, I will get back into things slowly.

I feel the same way been training for over 3 years now I'm 5.11 and just over 13st started at 10st I'm so bad with weighing myself if anyone comments on my weight ie.. your skinny or you lost weight I panic and obsess over it even if there kidding dose any one know how to stop this because it's driving me mad 🤣🤣
