Can confirm this week has stalled totally.

However all my clothes are looser and I do look visibly better. So reasons to be cheerful and enough for it not to be too demoralising
Another positive is my tits are much smaller biggrin

Went a bit off the rails yesterday, was good all day, gym session was perfunctory as wife had decided she needed a curry and had to get back as she moans she is hungry, anyway, it was mediocre, then followed it with a Raspberry Magnum and some dark chocolate, back to 15.4 but muscle has gone over 37 percent, fat at 22, dont think even with that lot I went over my calories, walked 2.5 miles at lunch as well.

A marathon will consume 4000 calories. It is also the equivalent of 42k steps.

I am looking to loose weight, not really sure why you are posting your negative crap on here, it is helping no one.
ASIR - The number of calories per mile will depend on the runner and pace. 2500 is likely a little lower than middle but the point stands.

Please tell me the part where I was negative? The discussion centered on the feasibility of 8% body weight losses per week, I simply highlighted what would be required and that the 8% wouldn't be purely fat loss, its just not doable without a mammoth effort.

If anything, it helps me to manage my expectations for fat loss and understand the mechanics of whats required e.g. calorie deficit, week in - week out and a consistent loss of up to 2 - 3lb per week shows great progress.

I appreciate you are trying to lose weight, from what I've read in your updates you're doing well given your already low body weight (in comparison to most others on here, myself included). I seem to recall you mentioned your loss slowing down, as the above point highlights, maintain a sensible deficit and it'll come off. eventually.

I apologize if you think its negative, its not intended to be.
Perhaps it was me, sugar depleted. smile

My old BootCamp instructor always said, when on a diet you should always give yourself a treat once a week, he said if you are rigid with a diet you are more likely to break it, however if you allow yourself a treat it gives you something to look forward to and you are far less likely to break it.

2*Garlic breads
1*Plate of pasta

Missed lunch and last night's meal so was making up. Did run 16miles in the am. Diet is a car crash I know, do need some regularity in it.

Went for a run on Friday and long cycle this morning burning nearly 1000 calories so i can enjoy my meal out tomorrow and feel like I have earned it.

I am planing on treating myself once every 2 weeks for sticking to the healthy eating and increased exercise

Went for a run this morning and for some odd reason I just wasn't up for it, not sure why, I didn't ache or anything , my legs were OK, I just didn't have the energy.

Anyway I'm up a kilo from last week frown

60.7 after my run...going the right way.

There is only one entry point for fat right. Just got to keep it closed! But it is hard.

I'm in. I'm going to aim for 1kg a week with my weigh ins on a Monday.

I'll weigh myself on Sunday to see what I am (roughly 120kg). So around 108kg by the end.

I'll either donate a £1 for every kg lost, or a £1 for every kg I'm away from my target, whatever is the most smile.
Well not started brilliantly...forgot about this and went on a bit of a binge with takeaways and meals out with someone I'm seeing. Jumped on the scales last week at 127kg. Whoops!

I've cut all the crap out of my diet, trying to eat breakfast every day (weetabix), lunch is toast if at home or a sandwich if at work. Dinner is either fish and veg or a ready meal if I'm finishing late. Fizzy drinks have been replaced with water, and trying to drink 1.5 litres a day.

Weigh days are Monday, but got confused with what day it was today due to being off and down to 124.6kg. Pleased with how things are going so far. Going to start the couch to 5k program as well. Aim is still to get down to 108kg, but don't think I'm going to make it by April. I'd be happy if I lost 10kg.

Try and cut out the bread if you can, makes a difference, though I did have a lump of baguette with Nutella on before....

Bought a couple of pairs of 34 inch waist jeans for a laugh/motivation, and they both fit, one is a bit snug but the others are fine, I paid £110 for a pair of fancy diesel 36's as a treat and they are getting a bit loose, never been so glad to waste £110.

Unfortunately bread is my main weakness, more than chocolate. I've cut down massively on what I used to have, could easily have a whole 800g loaf to myself in a day. Now its two slices for lunch (toast) and possibly one/two slices with dinner if I have the ready meal (normally some kind of pasta). Still come in under my calorie intake though. MyFitnessPal says I should have 2630 a day to lose 1kg a week.

Pre packed sandwiches also often mayo in them - yes it's nice, but also calorific.
