ADHD doesn’t exist.
It’s a complete figment of the imagination.
Much like addiction and other such nonsense it is a fantasy of the modern world.
And yet adhd medication appears to work for said neurodivegents, unlike on neurotypical. Could you explain why that would be the case on a made up affliction? It’s a complete figment of the imagination.

Bit of a weirdo coming in to deliver such a ground breaking revelation I guess. Akin to my wife saying just think happy thoughts.
Anyone have any tips / tricks for concentration at work?
I find I multi-task (work things or surf the web) during pretty much every zoom meeting that isn't a 1-2-1 with someone.
My attention span is incredibly small unless I am active on the call or highly invested in the topic.
This often means I miss details, that I should know about even though not directly related to me. A number of times people will say 'you we're on that call, do you remember X' and I'll have no idea.

Avoid pointless meetings (especially with large numbers of attendees with little to contribute) as much as possible -and if your job is basically only a series of pointless meetings, get a new job. Jobs like that are not for people with ADHD.I find I multi-task (work things or surf the web) during pretty much every zoom meeting that isn't a 1-2-1 with someone.

Remove distractions as far as possible and leave your camera on so that people will be able to tell if you are not engaged in the meeting.
Write things down in meetings, each point on a new line, use a highlighter on the importance bits/actions and use "tasks" on Outlook, Google or whichever other system you might use.
-I find that they do help, although I'll never be the world's greatest at this stuff.

Headphones on. Music up loud. Seems to work for me. And if course leave things as late as possible for some time pressure.I find I multi-task (work things or surf the web) during pretty much every zoom meeting that isn't a 1-2-1 with someone.

Anyone else having issues with the current global shortage of ADHD meds?
My pharmacy have been told they can't even place any new orders for Elvanse until next month, and apparently loads of other meds are also impacted too.
Yup, I am on 5mg of dexamaphetamin 2 -3 times a day instead, it’s not working very well.My pharmacy have been told they can't even place any new orders for Elvanse until next month, and apparently loads of other meds are also impacted too.

Loud music works for me too.My wife finds it strange how I can concentrate while I have music blasting, but for whatever reason it helps me focus.

Yes, I am on 30mg of Elvanse. No supply until January apparently. My doc has issued a script for 60mg and I am to split them and dilute them in water. My pharmacy have been told they can't even place any new orders for Elvanse until next month, and apparently loads of other meds are also impacted too.
No shortage of 60mg, so it might be worth suggesting this.

I have heard that there is a shortage of Elvanse. My pharmacy have been told they can't even place any new orders for Elvanse until next month, and apparently loads of other meds are also impacted too.
The ADHD 360 chap told me that the shortage means that I wouldn't be able to try Elvanse. Then I discovered that ADHD 360 are no longer providing NHS services in my region.... So I'll need to rely on my GP surgery, which will almost certainly be fairly useless as far as any changes are concerned.
I am on a high-ish dose of Concerta XL, although I am no longer convinced at all that it is doing anything for me.
I can take it, then drink strong coffee, and not notice any difference. When I first started on it, it appeared to make me feel a bit buzzy with a morning coffee.
