Had a reliable spotter in the gym tonight so really went for it with bench:
Bench: 3 x 140kg+15kg chains, 3 x 150kg+15kg chains, 1 x 160kg+15kg chains, -1 x 180kg, -1 x 190kg, -1 x 200kg, 15 x 120kg
Bent-over rows: 10 x 150kg, 8 x 160kg
Pull-ups: 8 x bodyweight, 5 x bodweight+20kg
I need some ibuprofen now!

Some impressive numbers there dude!
What bodyweight are you, out of interest?
Also, how do you find the chains? We've got some on order, so looking forward to trying them out.

I am around 117kg right now.
I like the chains although they don't quite help me hit my sticking point on bench - I need a non-linear increase in resistance through the range of motion, getting much harder at lockout. I think bands may be the way to go for that...

Busy, stressful day - and being a lazy git - so just pushups x 46, x 40 then x 35 off knees as it was killing my toe nails!
Gads! Even the words 'toe nails' sends shivers down my spine! Perhaps my only phobia!Sorry, off topic I know but I had to say...
Had ingrowing nails from 15 to 18 - both big toes each time - a right mess and agony, amazed I didn't die of blood poisoning. Dithering NHS moron(s) and two late, hamfisted operations and they've been botched ever since and hurt regularly, esp with the pressure of push ups.

Painful !Had ingrowing nails from 15 to 18 - both big toes each time - a right mess and agony, amazed I didn't die of blood poisoning. Dithering NHS moron(s) and two late, hamfisted operations and they've been botched ever since and hurt regularly, esp with the pressure of push ups.
I had both big toenails ingrowing at 24, so bad that I had to have one operation and let them grow back before having another operation to kill the roots so they wouldn't grow back. The left one has still grown back but is okay whilst the right one is just a twisted mess.
2 years of pain, the local anaesthetic hurt more than the toenails !
Sorry Viperpict

crossfit....warm ups then 21-15-9 of 70kg deads and handstandpushups!......had to do these last ones semi inclined on a box. Arms and shoulders tired now. Timed at 4 mins 10 sec. Need lots of practice to even do a hadnstand against the wall. Need to be a bit more dainty/nimble than I am at the mo!

Gotta say, the toenail thing -
Seriously, you should have seem mine or sat downwind at school! Well, maybe not. Left it too late to go to the docs and then slowed by 1970s health service inertia so they were rotten... toes eaten away basically. If my kids got anywhere near that I'd be scared to death. Horrific memories really.Bit of freestyle cardio work tonight: http://youtu.be/SS_69v3lVVo
