Is literally something I wouldn't even consider, even knowing this might be an option to get DIY TRT.

I guess I have more patience than some. Plus £50 can get me 5 months of prescription gel so not a huge saving going DIY to the gym bro's.

Very strange.

I have had Cypionate from a few manufacturers and it draws perfectly easy in a few seconds with an insulin needle.

A follow up call after a blood test last week.

15 months on Cypionate and HCG.

I went to a 10ml vial of Cypionate as I found the smaller ones were crystallising and it was a pain having to warm it up each time.

I now take 0.28ml of 200mg/ml of Cypionate every other day and 0.1ml of HCG every other day.

My last levels were

Testosterone 23.4 nmol/L
Free Testosterone 0.577
SHBG is 21

Going from 0.25 to 0.28 the doctor is hoping I get between 25 and 30 nmol/L as that’s where he wants me to be. I’ve been feeling great since getting it over 15 so I’m very pleased at the minute.

Dave!
How are you dosing such an accurate amount? Are you private?

My faith in the NHS is very low so I went private.

They keep increasing my dose at no extra cost to me so I think it’s just the levels they want to see you at for the best results.

That is an awful lot of exogenous Testosterone for a TRT protocol. If your new protocol is correct then that works out at 196 mg of Testosterone a week - double what men usually use for TRT.

Has your doctor got an opinion on what is going on?

Want to run something by you all…

When I had my original tutorial via FaceTime, the nurse told me to inject the Cypionate into flesh, but the bottle says it’s intramuscular??

I’ve only just noticed based on the photo of the bottle earlier in the thread.

If it is Cypionate then in my opinion the easiest and most painless way is to inject subcutaneous in belly fat; four fingers width either side of the naval, gently squeeze the flesh and inject with a 29g or 30g insulin needle - quick and painless and no chance of post injection pain. Doesn't work too well if you are injecting a lot in one go though.

If you want to stick with intramuscular then it can be a bit more daunting for beginners and most people have occasional post injection pain.

YouTube and Google is your friend for either method.

I queried this when the bottle arrived and was advised that subcutaneous injections were ok even though the bottle says intramuscular

I’ve looked it up now, it’s the safer, preferred method.

Few weeks into my Nebido and have to say feel alright so far. Brain fog has completely lifted. Reading more into the NHS Nebido protocol and it has a really bad reputation....however if you go on UK muscle forum they are all very positive about it. Just needs a year for it to settle properly into the system....it's not going to get you big muscle gains like other TRT but it will balance your hormones like it's supposed too...much better then paying £60+ a month for the rest of your life going private.

Only a few weeks into a 12 week cycle, though.

Please point me in the direction of this £60 pm clinic smile

Ledger or Mojo Clinic so I've read.....why how much do you pay??

Yeah it's 5 weeks in now....got a booster in 1 weeks time then it's the usual 12 week cycle. Will see for sure then.

I found it tailed right off, as you might expect.

A gel worked better for me.

Hi All,

Been reading this thread over the last 12 months or so as I have been feeling increasingly more and more tired, struggling to get motivated, crap libido etc.
This is despite going to gym regularly but I think this has just been propping me up.

Had an Optimale full blood test last year but was just over the threshold but did it again last month and it's dropped to under 12nmol and free T is 0.212nmol.

Been prescribed:-

Cypionate 0.25ml twice a week
HCG 0.15ml twice a week
Exemestane 1/4 of a tablet twice a week

Got to admit I'm a bit nervous about injecting myself but hopeful & excited for improvement.

When I started they gave me the contact details of a nurse - can’t remember his name, Scottish guy - really nice - he did a WhatsApp video call with me and went through injecting step by step.

Took my fear away and made me realise it’s a very easy process.

What’s the pill for?
My dose of the others is the same.

I'm ok on that front, my wife is an A&E sister so she'll teach me.

The pill is to keep control of estrogen that may be produced, (stop me getting man boobs).

How long have you been on treatment, are you feel noticeably better?

Couple of years.

Took a while to get my levels right and I have a tendency to have a high hermatacrit level - I can’t donate blood so it’s a pain but pretty good other than that!

The needle only stings when it breaks the skin, the rest of the travel is painless. The sting is only about 1-10.

How much is this costing you per month if you don't mind me asking?
