Back is really causing me problems, it's my left hand side lower and more like a shooting nerve pain, really struggling to get anything done
That sounds familiar. I've been dealing with sciatic pain for the past 6 months or so. Regular chiro visits and glute/hamstring mobility work has helped immensely.Animal said:

Lockdown taught me that working out at home is just not the same, sure I can do it and make good progress but I eventually found I miss the interaction.
Now, I am a miserable git that barely speaks to anyone but I always appreciate the friendly smile at the front desk and I miss observing the progress in others that occasionally motivates me to do another set.
Working out at home sometimes feels like doing the washing up.
Visiting the gym feels like going to work.
If only they could do something about the goddamn music.

An hour and a quarter on the bike this morning, very windy as is normal for where I live, some big 5 minute efforts thrown in, legs feel great, 1km swim when I got home, then a really top back session with my son at the gym, weighted wide grip pull ups which I love at the moment, then bent over rows, back looking thick and shredded so something must be working!
