I'm 76.6 kg as of Jan 1st.
Immediate target is 40 days from now, off on hols. Realistically, I'd like to be 74 kg by then. Anything under that's a win.
End of Q goal a more realistic 72 kg.
So this was my opening post. I got to 73.6 kg before my holidays, but photos revealed that sub 74 was not the svelte athlete's body I thought it was... maybe BMI has some merit then, since 74 kg is my threshold for normal and tubby...Immediate target is 40 days from now, off on hols. So, long term aim is to reside in the 60's. Not the low 60's, but it's clear to me that above 70 kg is not a healthy weight for me to be at. The gut wobble gives that away... so the end of Q stretch goal is 69.9 kg. Doable by eating really, really well. All comes down to personal discipline and how much I want it. We'll see.

Bit disappointed with that, though I ate utter rubbish at times over the weekend, so I can only award myself a 5/10 at best on the food front. Did a good week's exercise though - feel like I'm making some progress there. As always, I'll aim for a stellar week of food. It's Daddy-daycare while Mami is off on a trip this weekend, so an opportunity to be entirely in control which could be great, or could be terrible!

Disrupted week, so pleasantly surprised, though I did a long run on Sunday and may still be dehydrated. Ho hum. Anyway, 71.9 kg looks on for the end of the month.

I had the diet equivalent of full toys out of pram yesterday. there were pringles, donuts and chocolate. And you know what, I felt ste at the end of the day. It just made me feel awful, over-full, bloated, headachey. Upside? Shows I've been eating much better food in general to be able to notice the difference.

Don't panic mate - it's been a week of birthdays this week culminating with mine coming up on Saturday so sensible eating has gone a little out the window for me too; I'm fully expecting a small gain at the end of this week and that's OK as long as it's the exception rather than the rule.
A blip is not a trend!
Cheers. A bit of objectivity made me realise it was related to Sunday, when I did a long run, didn't eat enough afterwards, was hungry all Monday as well as tired, but still didn't eat more to recover, so by Tuesday, I was well in the hole. Had a massive salad and loads of healthy calories yesterday and today and hey presto, feeling great. I know there's a lot of anti-calorie-counting stuff in the press, but sometimes it's useful. A blip is not a trend!

I may have studiously ignored this thread for a couple of weeks while I fell of the wagon, tumbled down a steep hill and rolled about in a metaphorical puddle of bacon, pancakes, chips, chocolate, cheese, pies and pizza. And then vaguely got my st together and very tentatively stepped onto the scales in the hope I hadn't done too much damage. I think I can be grateful. A bit of focus and failure to eat my Easter eggs until Wednesday next week ought to see me hit the target.

Ah, the eggs, the chips, the bank holiday weekend. Still - 3.6 kg in three months seems positive and sustainable. I'll be off to the Q2 thread now. ETA - here: https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&... (and yes, I know, and yes, I've asked the admins to fix it).
Well done to all the losers on this thread. IYKWIM
