Why is white flour still fortified with niacin, thiamin and chalk?
Not sure if it's really justified in the UK anymore but if you are then importing flour chances are it's fortified so you may as well go with the international standard. When you sell it as "Pure wheat flour fortified with vitamins B1, B3 and calcium" it doesn't sound so bad.
What's the verdict on cold pressed UK rapeseed oil? Seed oil seems to have a bad rep.
Cheapest branded extra virgin olive oil 500ml was £9 in my local supermarket with own brand being 40p cheaper.
There was a few UK cold pressed rapeseed oils in glass for £3-5.
Any better or worse than olive oil? I know technically not UPF but obviously still heavily processed.

Cold pressing doesn't use heat or chemicals, generally speaking. Its available in most places now which is good. Crisp N Dry is rapeseed oil so there's a massive range of quality. Cheapest branded extra virgin olive oil 500ml was £9 in my local supermarket with own brand being 40p cheaper.

Slight aside, but I bought a veggie cookbook recently which while good, bangs on about the environmental benefits of vegetarianism but every recipe has olive oil. So you're talking at least 1000 food miles. Crock of st.
