Going into hospital to have 3 out of 4 out in several weeks time. Told I will be going under general. One of them is very close to the nerve so told there is higher risk of lip and tongue numbness afterwards. frown
I react very badly to general anth. (can't even keep water down) so wondering how much time I can expect to be off work? And any other advice from PHers who have had this done? Quite nervous, ridiculous as it may seem.

Erm, what does impacted mean?

Mine are partially under the gums, and bottom ones are lying sideways. frown

I've had a letter stating 18 weeks wait, though the hospital said 8-12 when I was there. Dreading it.

Well, tomorrow's the day..let's hope it doesn't go horribly wrong as next of kin are 120 miles away.

Friend at work has bought me 50 shades of grey to keep me occupied HA.

Wish me luck PH...pretty flippin nervous.

Well it was OK..yesterday I felt almost back to normal but since last night got the worst pain yet. Only on one side though. Necking painkillers and hoping it's not infected. :-(

Off to hospital I go, in so much pain even codeine isn't touching it.
Great start to my time off work, shouldn't have ignored it when it started hurting on Sunday. :-(

Ah they just gave me antibiotics! I'm glad at least someone else is in the tooth socket infection boat.
I'm much chirpier today. It's the drugs.
