I have an appointment tomorrow for this.

But, unlike when I have had other scans etc, I have not received any paperwork etc, this appears to have gone missing in the post.

So what should I expect? Google suggests it is similar to a lady having a scan for a baby. Is this correct?

SO is that a deffo that I have to drink beforehand?

I have absolutely no paperwork. The only reason I know of the scan is that I queried with the Doc why the appointment was taking so long, they checked and rang me to tell me.

I guess I could drink a pint of water, and then if I need not have done it its no harm done.

As for the scan, I have no symptoms. Basically Doc gave me blood pressure pills, that didn't work as expected, they put up the pressure rather than lower it. As a result he want to be sure my kidneys are undamaged.

I drank 2 litres of water on Sunday at 3pm, and had to get rid around 5.30pm so should be fine drinking a pint and holding for an hour.

OK, I've been for the scan. It was an MRI one.

Except, the scan wasn't done, I couldn't fit in the machine comfortably.

So, its back to the doc for options.

Well I did ask for my feet to go first, so my head didn't have to go right through, but this was refused.
