Is this normal??

Hi guys,

I've recently split up with my fiancee about 2 months ago whilst we were buying a house and planning a family, so as you can imagine I've gone off the rails a bit. Since this has happened I've started using powder to get me through (mainly to stay awake because I have a fantastic job and because I've lost all my belongings the only thing I have to do is go out drinking and doing both isn't easy without it) the thing that worries me is that I'm using more and more every day. I'm not a very open person when it comes to my feelings and it makes it easier posting to people who don't know me, was just wandering at what point does recreational use become addicted?

Thanks for the advice, although I haven't replied it has helped me a lot. I'd like to thank you all even though I haven't listened to it all. With exception from tonight I've been very stubborn about distancing myself from recreation and necessity

Evan tho I had to have a lot today for a family gathering and now I'm alone in bed doing it. I don't see me turning this corner

I'd love to run out of money but unfortunately I can't see that happening. I'm on pretty good money at the moment because of my job and it covers this thing I hate so much

I'll set a date but I know it will just get put back, lately I keep trying to be a better person by doing good deeds (you wouldnt believe the things I've done) but I always know I'll go straight back to the chalk and I just wish the people I care about showed me the same compassion

Nothing ever good ever comes from putting myself first though, if I don't go to the pub and drive the old boys home or go to mass on a Sunday morning I just fk up no matter how good my intentions are
