I've gone deaf...

For the past couple of weeks I have been struggling with partial hearing loss and general discomfort in my ears, from what I presumed was wax... Roll on today, and I'm posting this from a 90 degree angle, after putting some optrex in one of my lugholes. I've now gone from partial hearing loss, to full on, deaf-as-a-doorknob, blocked ear.

Whats the best way to get my hearing back?

No, I found that makes a terrible mess of my pillow

Not more than normal! They just started feeling blocked up, so being one to avoid the doc where possible stuck some drops in - now I can't hear!
