I need to buy a new weights bench as the one I have is now 17years old and was never the most stable....in fact it would not surprise me if it is a youth size as it's tiny hehe

I have a budget of £250, and ideally want one with a squatting rack option as well as leg curl choices.

Something like this

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Everlast-EV-340-Weight-Ben...

If any of you have experiences with something similar and can recommend a product please let me know smile

Cheers!

Squatting rack option probably would be more efficient with a separate choice option, Smiths etc.

Pretty good selection.

It depends on your needs, goals and preferences, but you can't beat a bench that will incline, decline, lay flat and give you an anchor point for your feet. This way you can hit chest and back at every angle, and also work your abs and erector spinae group at multiple angles. Anything else is over-spend.

So what you probably want is something like this : http://www.powerhouse-fitness.co.uk/bodymax-cf328-... or this: http://www.powerhouse-fitness.co.uk/bodymax-cf510-...

(NB: silly quick google search)

I went for the Bodymax CF430 bench and 415 squat rack in the end, had a good read of some exercise forums last night and these seem ideal for my needs smile thanks for the response, much appreciated!

I read it had a higher weight limit and was only an extra £25 so thought it would last longer than the cheaper bench.
