In the space of a few hours my wife has started feeling very dizzy and nauseous, followed by actual vomitting and a touch of the runs. I guess this is probably norovirus and there's nowt we can do, but is it a dead cert that I will get it too? NHS website doesn't actually say, hence I'm tapping the huge pool of knowledge and experience which is PH. I feel fine at the moment but if I am going to go down with it, I want to make work plans now and rearrange everything I can for the next few days. Any thoughts?

Aha - we may be in luck here. It started after we had been out in the car and she was complaining about her ear hurting a bit. She has now stopped vomitting and is having a cup of tea and thinks it may be a repeat of an ear infection she got a while back as she actually feels dizzy with head movement. When she had this before, we drove back from Lincoln to Bromley on a Sunday afternoon, non-stop, and she sat in the car without moving for four hours. As soon as I stopped, she just opened the door, leaned out and threw up,(good girl as I didn't fancy cleaning sick out of the GT3!) and she says she feels the same now. So, fingers crossed...................spare bed is sorted anyway and I have let her have exclusive use of the upstairs bathroom for now.
