Missus is heavily pregnant & we're getting ready for D-Day, test drove the TENS pain relief unit. After attaching the pads to her back, we powered it up and selected level 1 - the weakest - it made her jump out of her skin. Checked instructions again & 2nd go was the same. Is this to be expected?
cheers

It shouldn't do this. I get the feeling your controls don't work, and it's always set to 10. Can you get another unit and check?
oh dear I suppose so!

Sounds about right.

I "tested" my wife's tens machine on the lowest setting and jumped across the room.

When the big day came she ended up with it on full blast and boost for hours - actually forgot it was still on until the electrodes came off the pad and touched her skin.

Get a good book or a psp or something - they take ages to push it out.
double oh dear. Maybe I should give it a go as you did.... tremble..

Well, am now a Dad !
The TENS machine did a good job up to a point - we did max it out for a few hours before going to the Royal Berks. Nevertheless, recommended

Congratulations. Now check out the 'Dads who never ever get to go out for a beer' thread and welcome to the club!
So far very true, however after my 1st ever shopping trip to our local Aldi I'm the proud owner of many boxes of DAB beer smile
