Also, been meaning to get this out there: here is the data from my watch on NA Evoras since February. This is raw stuff, uneditted and a bit messy, but if anyone wants to get a feel for market position, maybe have some ammo for haggling, this is what I've seen since February. A total of 50 entries though note that some cars have been on sale more than once in this time.

This is great, and very useful. How often do you update it? Please keep it going...!

Great list, might be worth adding the reversing camera can fail if fitted and check all the led’s in the 3rd brake light in the rear spoiler.
Thanks, added.

I check the sources listed (Autotrader, PH, Facebook, Ebay, gumtree, Lotus For Sale) every day or two. The dates listed for first and last seen should be accurate. I'm going to keep it going hopefully until I buy one myself! Still saving up currently.

Great stuff, I've found searching on Facebook to be the most difficult, due to not being able to sort the search results, do you have any tips?

Happy hunting! It's slim pickings at the moment unfortunately, particularly in the 25k area. There are only four NA cars on sale at the moment, and two of those are very pricey main-dealer sales.

The black one at John Seal is currently up for 25k, but be aware it has been on sale since August last year(!) They may accept an offer on it but don't expect too much discount because it started at 26K and they have been holding firm at 25k since October. It's also a 2+0 not a 2+2 and is missing the Premium Pack so consider that in your valuation.

Based on what he offered for mine I’d guess he paid significantly less than 20k for it.

Not worth SOR with Jon? He sold both my exige and Evora for a reasonable fee via SOR.

JS looks to have premium prices on the cars he sells unless I have got an out of date view of values!

I think I paid £28k for my LE Evora and it sold for the same via Jon about 18 months later so after his commission it cost me £2k or so. Was annoyed I sold it on a knee jerk moment when my business took a slow turn but it is what it is. Great cars.

Early Elise models have certainly risen in recent years.

JS has a yellow S1 Elise for £15k that the owner had been advertising for £12,900. Assuming bought for c.£12k thats not a greedy markup.

I paid 27.5 for mine. Sold it ~2.5yrs later for 28.5 via WB (less ~£2k fee).
Agreed, brilliant cars.

I agree with the early comment of £25k cars. Decided to up my budget to £35k but still not a great deal available.

I’ll wait for the right car to come along. It will have a very easy life with me and will be a garage queen and never see a track, just something on my limited time off to use and a few euro trips if this lockdown ever lifts

There's a small possibility that mine might be for sale in the next couple of months. I've a thread somewhere but it'll be <£25K I'm sure

I’d be keen to chat P4cks I’ve seen your thread and followed your ownership. I like the in depth issues and enhancements you’ve covered. Did you have the headlights sorted after and the window regulator?

Love the red leather, the colour combo is now 🤩

Funny you should say that, it’s going in today to have the headlights relacquered and the scuff on the rear bumper painted.

Sadly the window regulator is still on back order from Lotus and the traction control light can’t be fixed until the dealership in Carlisle is back open so it’s a bit of a pain.

Just need to find out what’s happening with my job frown

Just to update, no movement on anything since the New Year. NA manual cars - 4 available, all since last year.

Only event logged is a price drop on the red car (AU10BHN) from £24,000 to £23,500. That car has been on sale with Cedar Specialist Cars for 60 days now, prior to that it was up as a private sale and looks to have been through multiple hands in 2020 either by sale multiple times, or a variety of sale-or-return processes.

Ryvita - a few updates as I’ve recently been looking into some of these cars:

Blue 59 plate at Derby Trade Cars sold about 4 weeks ago.
Black 60 plate at Jon Seal Sports Cars has now sold.
Black 59 plate at PJS Sports Cars is actually still for sale.

There was also a Black 62 plate S IPS with 94k miles advertised and sold via Facebook (also on eBay) on 11/12/20 for £24k (advertised at £25,950). Reg NK62 CXM. First seen 8/12.

Thanks for the extra info! To be honest, this looks like a person who wants to volunteer to take over keeping the log... tongue out
