Right. Man from Del Monte he say yes.
A few minor things but overall a clean bill of health. There was the headlight which I knew about (now fixed, it was the ballast gone), LEDs out in sidelights (which I intend to sort myself), tyre canister out of date, CV boot weeping, rusty mud flap brackets (I know this is a common thing - are the stainless steel replacements still available somewhere?) and a minor code for the Electric Coolant Pump function which has been resolved by checking and remaking an electrical connector.
Happy days...
EDIT; Oh, and paint code confirmed as B141 which is the Matt Black used on the Club Racer Elise.

Lotus Silverstone used to replace the mud flap brackets as standard I think, don't know if they were stainless though.
Ask about the wheel setup & wear. I only noticed when garage sent me a photo, outside & middle looked fine/good tread, inner was to the cords.
Enjoy your new car!
You can get stainless mudflsp brackets.
They are a pain to fit as you have to remove bodywork (that’s shimmed to line up and you can’t see the shims when reinstalling), drill out the rivets in the body panel without damaging the paint, and reinstall.
On my first Evora I did this myself but i properly painted the brackets from lotus. On the second I bought stainless ones and Lotus Silverstone fitted them.
Op. Check the windscreen external A pillar trim isn’t coming away. They were basically consumables on my second Evora.

I'm now subscribed to this thread.
I'm aiming to replace my Z4 on a budget of £30k next year, and the Evora is the prime target. I want something that will be as enjoyable on the odd trackday as it is on the French autoroute or my local B-roads, and having something that's a bit more low-slung and supercarish really appeals. It just feels so much less obvious a choice than an M2 or Cayman/997, and that really appeals too.
Now to start patiently tracking prices and stopping myself from any rash decisions in the meantime.

Best of luck. I recently got mine at a hair under 30K. You won't regret it.
I did a big exercise on tracking prices and stock a few years back, and assembled a year or so of sales data. You'll see that there are some updates on that a number of pages back. The data is all old now and prices have shifted, but you'll likely see some cars being resold etc.

I almost bought at 24, missed out as they all shot to £30k+ and recently bought a 911 instead. No regrets, but an evora is definitely on the list for another day still.
Still have the eBay alert though and one popped up a couple of days ago for £25k on eBay - worth a look perhaps if you’re serious. Haven’t seen one for under £27k for a while.
Generally look out for the three options packs, clutch change and lifting airbag in the dash, but there’s all that and more in this thread.

I can see the price reflects the high mileage but should someone expects a huge bill with mileage approaching the 100k?https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202306178...

Well that’s not going to work ! Getting closer! Looks like a lovely car. I spy a little airbag cover lift though, would need to get that fixed.
I wonder when the downward pressure from the dozens of Emiras for sale will have an effect? Dealers are still asking £45k+ for an 8 year old SportsRacer IPS and £70k for various 4 year old GT410's which seems ... hopeful?

I was thinking the Emira might be having an effect. It's basically the replacement in the Lotus range. I wonder when the downward pressure from the dozens of Emiras for sale will have an effect?
