Depreciation is the big one for me, I think I'd loose [sic] more on a £40K evora then say a £40k Saggy.....really fancy one or the other!!!!
Surely that would be the case with any car still in production? Personally, I reckon the depreciation on Evoras is pretty good compared to the competition?

Me too. I use a Tom Tom in my 360 - I installed a 12v socket under the dash by the driver's door to make the wiring nice & neat. I can use the same Tom Tom in all 3 cars + the GF's car + hire cars abroad. It's better than the £1000+ optional systems & it goes up on the windscreen where it's much more useful & safer to use than an OE system, most of which are too low down on the dashboard.
Can't understand why people pay so much for something they know is below standard just because they think it will help sell the car in however many years' time.
Think I'll be getting an Evora/Evora S next. The one in the OP looks nice but there's no way I'd have one with a white instrument binnacle as it would reflect in the windscreen & irritate me every time I drove the car.

I thought it was only me. I've got a four year old PDA that runs a pretty recent version of TomTom and it runs rings round the 'impressive high end' built in satnavs.
I've grown to quite trust Robot Lady and her pronouncements, whereas some friends simply don't use their in car systems as they've had some interesting journeys.

I feel left out, never seen the need for SatNav, it's what Google Maps is for, for free.
Google maps is pants for turn by turn navigation over a long journey. Fine for a nice detailed map of the last little bit, or a print out you can refer to when you're parked safely(*), but not a patch on Robot Lady for making a long expedition uneventful.Google are putting a lot of effort into improving it, but I wouldn't want to rely on it (particularly not on a smartphone) for a long journey.
(*) And definitely not grubbing around in the passenger footwell whilst driving down the motorway, steering with one knee.
