I keep missing out on lotus ownership after having owned an Elise and an Exige. The quicker they release an Evora S with an Elise type convertible roof the more likely lotus will manage to carve out a niche in the sub 60k bracket.

I'll be in the market again for a rawish convertible next spring/summer. The only thing qn Evora would need to compete with would be the boxster spyder.

As for their interiors I've not ever had any problems. Spartan yes but also well put together. Not sure what all the complaints are about

Just spent a very enjoyable hour or so with James from the factory to provide customer feedback on my Evora S (which is fantastic by the way). He also helped me sort out a couple of niggles with the Alpine unit and they were as much ignorance on my part rather than problems!

Of course we talked about the supposed facelift and the info straight from the 'horses mouth' so to speak is that info was leaked and relates to a 'bodykit' being developed by a third party and will be shown at Geneva. I cant remember the company name but they are helping design the interior for the Esprit. A press release is being prepared by Lotus to cover this off. The internal changes are very minor and things such as soft feel internal door pulls: so no big deal!

Mansory. I mean, MANSORY! Are you f***ing serious?

(the "you" is not 08sag, it's Lotus)
