I think he will be OK. Good for Evertonians, as we may get Peanuts from Spirs if that is the case.

I think Harry must have heard before kick off today, he looked like he had the right hump at the interview after.

I recon another situation similar to when Brian Clough was being touted for the job in the 70's ...not an FA man.

Any links for this? I know it's on the Daily Mail site but you would have thought Sky would be on it.

It's on talkste at the moment apparently direct quotes from WBA and Bernstein claiming Woy is the only one they have approached.

I know he didn't have the support of the team at Liverpool and he has done OK at WBA but he is not England manager material in my opinion.

As I posted a couple of times on the Spurs thread, Redknapp was never going to get the job. Three of the 4 man panel dont like him including Brooking.

He's won about as much as HR in his career, so why not give him a go?

He has experience at managing at international level.

Spot on, Hodgson is a yes man, also, he has experience with Inter and Switzerland which Harry doesn't. It's not a bad choice, just not the public one.

I don't know, perhaps he's just once of those managers I've never much liked but I'd rather them look at Championship candidates rather than Woy

He did well at Fulham and has done well at WBA. The Liverpool fans were on his back from day one so he never had a chance. I'm sure he'll be as good as our 'Arry.

I know he has the experience but it's his whole demeanor that I have a problem with. He doesn't come across as a manager who could motivate the players when they're 2-0 down at half time in a World Cup Quarter Final. I imagine him sitting in the dressing room simply rubbing his face and the players just give up.
