Wonder if we'll be adding him to the list of LFC flops.

His style should suit their play though, might be a good fit.
Firmino? A flop?
After leaving.

He's definitely going to make top 5. Incredible stats really.

Another one we won't fully appreciate until he's gone.

Two quality goals from Jota. Really loved the first one - his movement when Fab headed the ball shows his positional awareness to get in front of his man rather than simply ball watch. Quality goal.

Second one was really good movement again and lovely control.

He’s a top quality player, he also has that bit of a streak.

He seems to not offer as much elsewhere on the pitch as some of our other strikers, but does know where the goal is.

Also very good in the air despite being short

Not sure how he missed that one in the first half from the Trent cross mind

Some of our ex-youth players are looking pretty handy now; Williams was good against us yesterday, Harry Wilson has been good for Fulham, Solanke seems to be coming good for Bournemouth.

He can be very anonymous a lot of times in games and then one chance, goal. Can be a frustrating watch as you wonder sometimes what does he actually do... but he's so important for us, just as Nunez is who looks a lot more pleasing to the eye with his energy and running and naturally gets a lot more praise - different type of player but both equally as important.

Gakpo looks to be Bobby's natural heir. Constantly dropping deep and bringing orhers into play. Plays it well too ans will get better.

Read something a Fulham fan wrote about Harry Wilson not getting a chance at Liverpool and was about to contradict him until I looked it up. He only played twice for us.

I could have sworn he made 50 appearances or more.

Only started twice? He definitely got more appearances than just two!

I have to say, after so many years of ridicule for "next year is our year", even with our crap season it's quite pleasing to see stuff like this: https://www.instagram.com/reel/Cqk2tqKo23z/?igshid...

I think he appeared more in pre season games tbh.

Huh, it definitely does look like he only featured in 2 games. I think the issue was that he was coming of senior squad age at a time when we had a stacked and established midfield. Remember those days?

One of those players who is too good to sit on our bench and be a back up option but probably not good enough to be a regular squad option.

Not sure why we have any bragging rights over them, they’ve won a cup and are 9 points above us.

Now Chelsea…..

Must admit after taking an interest in Wrexham's progress since bingeing the tv series, the atmosphere and simplicity of the football there reminds me more of footy pre-PL and reminds me what I loved about the game. Winning promotion last night saw a good natured pitch invasion that just doesn't seem to happen in the PL and players celebrating with fans.

Seeing their 2 owners get so engrossed into matches (and showing you can invest while also getting emotionally involved) is a world away from watching Henry or anyone else from FSG watch our games. Can't imagine Henry giving Fabinho or Salah a big bear hug somehow. And I've lost count of how many times Ben Foster has mentioned in interviews how there are no egos in the team (indicating he's played with plenty) and what great team spirit there is.

I sat watching all that until 9pm last night and only then saw City had predictably won their cup semi. And thought "who cares?". Our game yesterday was the common (this season) huff and puff from highly paid multi millionaires to try and beat a club struggling under the weight of having bought far too many players to assimilate into a team. And we won but I wonder how many enjoyed it.

Despite winning with 2 excellent goals from Mullin last night, skills lower down are obviously not on the same level and the VAR-less officiating can sometimes lead to ludicrous decisions but despite all that the really engaging footy was in north Wales last night and brilliant to watch.
