I don't think it is quite the disaster folks are making it out to be. He is a great player for us, no doubt, but i think the lads have shown on several occasions that having a key player out just means that the others raise their game.

Just got 2 FA Cup Semi Final tickets, so i'm very pleased with myself. Anyone else going ?

Oh and well done to Leighton Baines. Gone from Everton Sub to the England squad this season.

My first love is Benfica but since i moved to England and the North west aged 14 i have been a big Everton fan. Had 15 season tickets now. Just hope Everton can find an investor to really make the club compete with the bigger clubs.

I saw the game and it was very entertaining. Howard was awful today, especially from crossing. He kept coming and missing. The first goal was poor from Howard, he came from the cross and didn't make any effort to get it.

Villa's pace was a problem and i have to tell you that Tony Hibbert should not be our right back. He wasn't good today and could easily have given away a penalty or got sent off.

We played more open today thank i am used to. a draw at Villa is ok result

No injuries i think for the Semi Final and a week to rest and get ready. We need to be much better vs Man Utd

Just seen Mike Riley is now ref for the Semi Final. Not only is he the worst referee in the Prem, but is also a self confessed Man Utd supporter.

This is the worst appointment for Everton

I think it will be a tough one on Sunday. The choice of ref is BAD! for us anyway. I thought he may have give Saha longer last game but i guess he's going to play cahill and fellaini up front.
