Get in lads. HWTL...

Man I need to get my heart seen to. These games nowadays are too much for my ticker man.

We didn't deserve it. The win that is. Very poor performance all round. Apart from Dubravka and Gordon

Let's look on the bright side lads...

At least we don't have to listen to Bruce give his post match interview.

Dubravka Man of the Match
This. We were bloody awful bar him, and I think Miggy deserves a bit of credit he had some nice play.

Lascelles? It’s my fault. I was saying to the lad he’s been playing well when Botman”s been out.

I’m sorry.

Aye I'm noticing when we scored against Blackburn he celebrated like he won the Champions League.

We were lucky tonight, but let's not take Blackburns performance away. They were fantastic.

What a cup tie.

We were awful, again.

The ability of opposition to play straight onto our defence is alarming. It's not even clever balls it's just straight passes through to them because we offer too much space.

I'm glad we got the win but things need to change. We need to be able to change systems when it's not working.

We'd need another system to choose from, firstly.

We've got to find away to shore up the midfield. If Bruno gets booked, we're fooked.

A depressing game, even though we (eventually) won. You just know we're going to the Etihad in the next round.

Looking back, Blackburn played well above their station and we were slack at the back.
Dubrovka was our MOTM, would hate to see Pope take his place just because's #1. Good performances from Bruno & Gordon. Willock & Barnes need time, the rest of the team had some great moments but were regularly kept in check. We're just not playing as a team like we were 12 months ago. Longstaff just seems to wander about watching a lot of the time. Our passing and crosses were wayward, slack, sloppy at times. Trippier was all over the pitch; trying too hard or something in the back of his mind distracting him. Was pleased when Eddie took him off.

He looks shell shocked a lot of the time.

I think Anderson should get some minutes in his place.

He seems to have regressed to the Bruce era. Caught on the ball and shocking passing.

I can remember one good pass last night, putting Miley in on goal (where he should have scored). Apart from that, he seems chronically slow, both on and off the ball. Saw a lot of frustration in Trippier last night who was constantly motioning to people to get the ball upfield.

Shell shocked biglaugh looks like he's in a different planet at times, and do not mention Lascelles as he should have gone years ago, both championship players.
If the team is to progress we need better second choice replacements as both do not cut it.

I was being extremely polite.

I used slightly different words last night.
