Pity there's no Rangers Thread to discuss such matters.

You don't have to, you know. Could always just post on dedicated Rangers forums elsewhere like most of the others have done.

Any chance of improving the general content of the thread? If not, bans then thread close down will happen.

Cheers. thumbup

I'll point out he was banned from the Rangers thread for his conduct long before that was locked. We know what he's like.

Trying to conflate a bit of drink fuelled fisticuffs with thousands of war dead? Could you not just accept that some of your fans are well out of order?

fk it, the entire country sees your lot for exactly what they are.
Hello, here again? Strange given your strong stance in the Rangers thread.

Like I said over there, you do love exaggerating things to silly levels.

Most people accept what was done yesterday was wrong. The fact is 99.9% of people respected the silence, but as expected you're making a song and dance about it again. These individuals want attention and a reaction. It works with some people. ......

I don't see you making any comment about the guys on the train or the Rangers fan on the news tonight.

As I said in the Rangers thread, your approach to a argument is very childish that only leads to tit for tat.

I've no idea why remembrance Sunday has become such an integral part of football. Going back just a few years, next to nobody ever wore poppies on their football tops. Now it's a grotesquely exaggerated circus at some grounds.

Why have people made such a song and dance over it at football games in the last couple of years, then at 11am on Sunday the type of people showing their respect properly weren't exactly your average football supporter?

It's a charade now that everyone knows is going to lead to a one-upmanship. It really has little to do with the actual purpose of the day.

99.9% of people doesn't include the Celtic pricks that booed. Honestly, you seem like a half intelligent person, so how you cannot see/hear what goes on a Parkhead bemuses me.

I have, yes. And Tannadice, Tynecastle, Excelsior Stadium, Almondvale that I can name off the top of my head.

Quite often when any minutes silence is broken, it's happened at various stadiums over the years, the reaction to the idiots is people boo. Booing the idiots makes it sound even worse.

I hear and see a lot of things on every side. Some people only are able to see things from a one sided view.

When you've got tens of thousand of people, usually pissed, it's pretty awful what is said and done at times.

People download the songs and learn the words. They'll belt them out on a Saturday afternoon even though they don't have the faintest idea what they are singing about. They'll mouth off, shout abuse and conform to how they feel they should behave.

They'll log into their respective football forum and say all the same things. If you read the football forums they are an absolute embarrassment. We even had a lot on here in the Rangers thread. Why people feel the need to post the things they do, I'll never know. They are back on this thread with their I'm a saint attitude again when they're as bitter as the people that they are upset with.

However once they leave the keyboard, or out of a football stadium, they wouldn't dare say or behave like they do in their cocooned little football world.

Yep. But none quite as offensive as people booing a minutes silence that was supposed to remember the heroes we lost during wars.

Amazing that a Celtic fan can complain about bigotry and bile with a straight face.

So you find freedom of speech more offensive (I don't condone the handful of eejits btw), than sectarian and racist bile (on both sides) that is actually an offence under the OBFA and punishable by Jail?

I think people that argue about which interpretation of the worlds greatest piece of fiction is correct are complete fking morons. I think people that boo during a minutes silence are scum. And it offends me that they do it.
