Legally a woman cannot rape. Rape is defined as the insertion of the penis into mouth, anus or vagina of another without their consent. Insertion of strap ons, bottles etc is not rape, but a serious sexual assault. To rape, you need a real penis.
A woman can be convicted of rape, as part of joint enterprise, if she for example holds down the victim whilst the man does the raping.
I understand that "Assault by penetration" carries the same penalties.A woman can be convicted of rape, as part of joint enterprise, if she for example holds down the victim whilst the man does the raping.

With the greatest of respect it's difficult for a woman to rape a man without the man having a boner would you not say? I would suggest the existence of a boner may well be deemed implied consent wouldn't you? The existence of a va9ina does not imply consent though does it?
Absolutely not. No more than a woman being sexually aroused grants you consent. If a woman is bouncing away on top of you and you change your mind, she's committing an offence if she refuses to get off you. Not rape, because as pointed out above, she lacks the equipment, but a sexual assault all the same. Boner or not.

How would you discover she was sexually aroused? Maybe a drip tray with a mirror on it?
well maybe shes having sex in a hotel room with another man. walking in and joining in doesn't grant consent.otolith said:

Women who go for this have no respect for themselves. Thus is preyed upon by men who have no respect for women. As I said earlier, abuse by consent.
Out of interest, would you say the same about a man having a threesome with two women?Trophy Husband said:

How many of us blokes on here have been involved in roasting a girl the way that these footballers have/do? How many of us have done this and had our brother and a mate outside of the window videoing it?
It has been ruled that no rape occurred on the weight of the evidence. However, I would call it abuse by consent. Total exploitation in my book. Whilst it is not a crime it is certainly morally reprehensible behaviour and shows a complete lack of respect for women. Is it the first time this has happened with footballers? I bet it happened several times in several places this weekend just gone and will happen next weekend, the weekend after and every weekend after that.
When was the last time you said "may I have your consent please?" Before doing the dirty? Consent will always be an odd discussion when alcohol is involved it makes things worse. I have woken up in the morning stark balls naked next to a girl and couldnt remember a thing from the night before. Was I raped? It has been ruled that no rape occurred on the weight of the evidence. I hope your previous sexual history would be taken into account if you made a complaint to the police. (he was asking for it, he had a history of doing this etc etc etc.)
If you want to consider male rape for a moment, how about you leave a nightclub very drunk and the next thing you remember waking up next to a chap with no recollection of what went on after you left a nightclub. Do you consider that rape? Or maybe you wake up alone with zero recollection of what went on but the very real knowledge that you have had anal sex. Do you shrug it off and go home or report it?

You're on tricky ground there, woman campaigning for just as much respect as menhttp://www.nydailynews.com/news/world/canadian-wom...

That's a change of goalposts I'm afraid. Dynamically and psychologically massively different. If my wife asks me for the ride I'll happily jump on. If I ask her and she's not up for it obviously I won't. Men and women are very different in this regard both physiologically and psychologically. Have you not noticed? Hence why a woman cannot rape a man in UK law. Now then, if my wife brought her fit friend along and was up for it herself I would not consider myself to be the victim of rape. I would not consider myself a victim at all. I might pretend not to consent for a while though. But it would only be pretending.
I was too tired for sex the other night and had to be up early, so we didn't, GF wanted to, I didn't, we didn't. So basically your wrong. Have you never been in the situation were you've had sex quite a few times in a day and just cant but your other half wants to but you have to say no because its too red and hurts? kind of an extreme but that's happened to me a few times.

That sounds like thrush, tbh. Have you never been in the situation were you've had sex quite a few times in a day and just cant but your other half wants to but you have to say no because its too red and hurts? kind of an extreme but that's happened to me a few times.
This debate is going spectacularly off topic now. But one thing is for sure, Ched Evans was found not guilty of rape.

Morning Glory, yes. Pi55 proud, yes. Not up for it? No.
Well it might surprise you but that's exactly what's happened. Male 'not up for it' has been forced into arousal and raped. In a Centre for Disease Control national survey on sexual violence more than 5 million men in the United States had been “made to penetrate” someone else in their lifetime, whether by coercion, intimidation, or because they were incapacitated. popeyewhite said:

I don't know about the USA, but in the UK, that's not rape. The only way a man can be raped in the UK is by another man.TwigtheWonderkid said:

I guess the inference is that if one is too drunk to recall, one is most likely not in a fit state to consent?
That isn't necessarily true though. Just because you can't recall doesn't mean that you lacked capacity at the relevant time. People have blank spaces in their memories after drinking because alcohol prevents you from recording the events as memories. It doesn't mean that you were necessarily too drunk to consent when the event took place.Gassing Station | Football | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
