Much better second half that, chambers and laca were brilliant.
Odegaard is such a quality player need to sign him proper.
Too bad we let in those stupid goals.

Should have been a win but can't complain, showed great character to come back from 3 down.

Great come back in the end, very happy with a point after a disgrace of a 1st half!

That was probably Chambers best game for us, while Madrid won't be selling Odegaard if he keeps playing like that!

Can't work out if that is a good result or not! I suppose based on where we were at 30 mins it is!

And agree about Odegaard. He's an absolute superstar in the making.

First 30 mins were rank amateur, several players not even doing the very basics, yes the fight back was good but we shouldn’t have been in that position in the first place. We started with exactly the same malaise with which we played the whole game on Thursday, and only started having a go once we were well into ststorm territory.

I’m seriously beginning to wonder if Arteta should be allowed to carry on because whatever he’s attempting sure as hell isn’t working, for me the only thing saving him currently is Europe and I honestly can’t see us winning that, because the first proper team we come up against we’ll get our arses handed to us. The amount of stupid goals given away this season must be well into double figures now, we’re getting back into banter season like before Wenger finally got asked to leave.

Great result, but being 3-0 down was a disgrace really. You've just helped us out massively though so thank you.

Also, was that pull back for a potential penalty not even checked? It's looked like an obvious foul in real time and on the replay, but nothing was said about it.

Xhaka is unable to do for us what declan rice can do for West Ham and that’s one of the reasons we dropped three goals.

Not sure Xhaka was at fault for any of them, the first was down to Chambers being out of position/ Luiz allowing Antonio to run unchallenged into the box, the second was down to Tierney and Mari turning their backs on a free kick situation, then Leno being as much use as a chocolate fireguard. The third was Antonio completely bullying Luiz in the air, so how exactly are you blaming Xhaka for all that?

I am not blaming Xhaka for anything, point is, he ain’t going to grab the ball in the opponents half, go round four players through the middle of park and either slot the ball in the net or, pass it to someone that can.

That player plays for West Ham, not arsenal and that’s how far the bar has dropped to keep accommodating Xhaka. If we keep accommodating him we will keep getting results like today and it’s nowt to do with the manager.

Loved watching him, he was one of my fave 'characters', and he genuinely loved the club. He had suffered with depression for years and it seems an argument with one moron on Twitter may have finally tipped him over the edge (all speculation at the minute of course).

I've been annoyed with AFTV since they kicked him off, but I hope they were actively helping him behind the scenes, we might find out soon enough.

RIP Claude.

Shocking performance tonight, truly awful. That ws one of the most one sided games I've seen this season.

Arteta has collected a bunch of spineless whinging fkers who are happy to dish stick out but can't take it back and run away when the going gets tough. Ceballos, I'm talking to you. And you, Partey, and you too Gabriel. Add in to the mix that Holding & Cedric are not much better than average defenders, Lacazette screams like a banshee every time he's touched & is clearly not up for the fight and that Aubameyang is yet another sulky Frenchman who blows hot & cold and you can see why Arsenal are struggling.

His insistence on playing out from the back when he hasn't got the quality of defenders is just pure folly.

Oh, and he got rid of the wrong keeper.

Thank fk I'm not a Gooner. hehe

Making Liverpool look like a confident, credible team. Ridiculously poor stuff.....

Absolutely shocking from the 'team' today. Can't think of a single player who put even an average performance in. Gabriel looked like a league 2 defender, chmabers I don't think got into the attacking 3rd once in the match, Partey gave the ball away on countless occasions today, Ceballos is stealing a living as a footballer, Auba looks bereft of confidence and is just jogging around the pitch, Pepe is just wandering around like a headless chicken and as I have said before his positional awareness is diabolical. Laca was poor today and looked disinterested, which for a player who has had two weeks off, is just not on. Think that sums it up pretty accurately today.....

Arteta in part to blame, but attitude on the pitch counts for a lot and a lot of that has to sit with the players. One mind on Thursday maybe, but Liverpool have a little game on Tuesday too.....

It really felt that we were second best all over the park today and top half is the best we can hope for this season in the league.

A rocket up the backside of a number of players needed and another big clean out/refresh in the summer needed, but I get the feeling Arteta already knows that.

Yeh, don't know where to start with this. It was clear within the first half hour where this was going. Didn't even get out the starting blocks. At all. Lost our best player on the pitch with injury.

Dare I say it, we missed Xhaka?

Credit to Liverpool, having had their own problems, they got stuck in from the go and reaped the rewards. A reminder of just how far off the pace our squad is when a rival pitches up and does what they are capable of (regardless off previous form).

We were blown right out of the water.

Absolutely terrible performance, one of the worst I've seen for a while.

Came out with a defeatist mentality same as Man City game and gave them too much respect and got steamrolled. With a bit more belief they might have put up more of a fight.

They played well with so much hunger and aggression, we couldn't win any second balls or string 3 passes together.

None of the players came out of this looking good.

Cabellos should never play in that position again, always needs 3/4 touches before he decides what to do with it. Can't tackle and can't play forward.

Auba was anonymous because of Dani, when Xhaka plays he tucks in that left back spot allowing KT and whoever's on that left wing to get forward, without xhakas protection all Auba was doing was running back. Auba should play up front or not at all.

Holding getting out jumped again by a smaller guy, first Stirling and now Jota, can't pass either. Luiz would have been better.

Gabriel did a few good things but was rash and sloppy, always looks hurried with the ball at his feet and needs an age to sort himself out to pick a pass.

Leno decent shot stopper but hardly ever comes for crosses and distribution is poor.

Partey was decent for like 30 mins and showed some good skills getting away from players but tires too easily and needs more help in there.

Pepe won a few headers but poor as an out ball and didn't do much else.

Honest interview from Mikel but he needs to drop some of these wasters and try and get some leaders in this team, also needs to drop this defensive tactic whenever we are about to play someone half decent as I believe these negative tactics sets this lack of belief and defeatist mentally . It's like telling your players you can't match the opposition so just keep it tight and keep the score to a minimum.

Lucky we weren't spanked 5/6-0 yesterday we were that bad.

Bit worrying that for the 2nd game in a row the players haven't followed the bosses game plan. Makes you wonder what's going on in the background? Especially with Auba who just looks like another Ozil and can't be bothered.
