Chelsea love shooting themselves in the foot. What top manager would want to work under the new regime there? Meddling owner, players you're lumbered with because of 8 years contracts etc etc
Tuchel has said off the record he'd welcome the idea of going back or else he'll go on a sabbatical. I'd like to see Tuchel back in the PL; if he can make up with the owners and they can offer significant guaranteed compensation, I'm sure he'd take it. I agree though; the tools any new manager is lumbered with isn't going to help and effectively will have one hand tied behind their back.

Is Slot likely to try to bring anyone with him? Santiago Gimenez seems to have been linked with a few clubs.
No. There was something written a couple of weeks back - he's coming as coach, not as someone who has a biggest say in what players he wants. The weight of player identification is done by others, not him. Not his role. Adam. said:

Think he did an excellent job considering, would predict top 4 for next season under Poch
Just as he looked like he’s gotten to grips of them, mental !!TownIdiot said:
Got to be good news for us as there is no way they'd have been as crap next season. For all the piss taking they have actually got some decent players.
Yep their poor form has been surprising, a good manager could get them playing very well and that could have been PochTownIdiot said:

Having a net spend of £630m+ over the past 2 years you would certainly hope so?The problem they now have is with FFP, and the fact that the 2 players who they can make decent money on quickly are 2 of their best (Gallagher, Palmer). I do wonder if that had anything to do with the Poch disagreement?
You can tell the players liked him and bought into his style and methods. When current players are posting facepalm emoji's on their Instagram feeds, something so simple speaks volumes.
FFP stipulations would have been known long before Poch joined - surely those spending restrictions would have been discussed when he was interviewed?!

Never a good thing when the players are thinking wtf is going on here.New manager immediately starting on the back foot.
It's an exaggerated version about the potential issues of having back room sporting directors controlling the football matters. The manager/coach can become a scapegoat, and it's difficult to hold the directors to account.

Thanks for the spoiler you utter muppet Atleast we lost to the winners.
Er, perhaps you shouldn't visit a footy forum, where football is discussed, if you didn't want to know a football result, particularly after the match has ended!
