He might be OK when he settles in to the PL. Both Souness and Barnes said he'd struggle with the style and pace of the game here. Richard Keys said at the start of the season we'd have been better signing Troy Deeney as he's "a proper bloke". Hopefully he'll find his feet in the PL soon

Keys is a total has been, once they’re that far over the hill they have to make ridiculous statements to get any level of attention. I remember the ginger cretin Adrian Durham, questioning why Moyes would leave PNE for us as we were (in his worthless opinion) a smaller club. The low rent end of the sports journalism sector engages in this sort of idiocy all the time. 79% passing accuracy today

When I view the penalty shout, surely the point was if the ball had gone on It would have fell to Richies feet 6 yds from goal, up to now no one as mentioned that. In my view stonewall pen
Was nice to see a team performance where we solid and played out the game for a result
I saw that, and totally agree HillyWas nice to see a team performance where we solid and played out the game for a result
It’s an odd start to the season when you look at some of the results, I really didn’t think City and Wolves would lose yesterday or that United would look shaky. It’s all set up for our neighbours I fear but I’m beginning to think that a top four place is up for grabs. I think we need a keeper and a CB.

Watching Rodriguez today I am amazed how easy it makes it look. Also his control even when tightly marked is a joy to behold. Can’t wait for the fans to be back he will enjoy the admiration, as the fans will enjoy his skills.
I missed your game on Saturday as I was out on the piss rather than watching, was he as good as his stats suggest? I'll be honest (I've wrote it in here before I think) I thought it would take him a couple of months to get up to stratch but he seems to have hit the ground running. DCL scoring again as well, ffs he's gonna get the 20 goals I said he had no chance of achieving isn't he.Hopefully either ourselves or you can end up in the top 4, it'd be nice to see someone different in there.

Sorry, what are you talking about? Not a facetious question, i dont know what you are referring to.
I think it’s a reference to ‘spirit of the blues’ it’s a song released by some mad blues that has stormed to the top of the listings on the internet. All a bit daft but it’s got up the noses of our red friends. Blue62 said:

I think we might get both, one on loan and one bought. Not sure which way round that will be though!m3sye said:
U know what I'd love it if you were our closest challenges this year, obvs us to win, but rather you than city
I'd take second with open arms and a small tear of joy rolling down my cheek. It won't happen, but it would soften the blow of Liverpool winning the league I have fingers crossed for top 6, but it's far too early to count chickens yet. The only decent side we've played so far is Spurs, and they were awful. The first Mersey derby of the season is in a few weeks, then a run of games that we should get results in before playing United in November. December looks like a tough month though with Chelsea, Leicester and City. I think January will give us a decent idea of if we'll have a good season or not.
