Isn't he your only other striker?
I'm sure we'll miss all the goals he brings to the team.

It was hardly likely his scoreless patch would continue for all the next 3 months....

No one will miss Borini. Maybe the 17 year old kid we bought will get some pitch time. The league campaign is over and bar staying up I'm not expecting anything else. Might as well bring thru the likes of Suso.

Thing is last season was a disaster, but this season could redefine "disaster" - Rafa did well and given time and money we could have remade top 4 or better now we are "playing nice footie" sorry but nice footie means winning a few.

I'm not as patient as some here, maybe because I can remember when games meant so much they were electric, days before a game with Arsenal, the points vital, the teams top two the atmosphere unreal, butterflies and hope fill me.

We got near it in Rafas penultimate season and in a few CL games but now I guess this is how 18 teams supporters feel ever year - Groundhog Day.

Paper thin squad, reliance on untried kids (Moyes and Everton esq) and more corporate bullst than a merchant bankers bonus forum - where are we going?

Not feeling overly confident - tell me it'll be alright (before I die)

Pretty much what I said since the last day of the transfer window.

No buffet last year, the food addition is part of the new plan to get more value from each fan and as such the ticket went up 30% and the (very good) buffet is free.
Thing is I used to get there 15mins before ko, grab a programme and a pie and get on my seat for YNWA. Now if you hit the lounge buffet at that time it's like a nuclear winter occurred / swarm of locusts flew in - nowt. So I went an hour early - packed - so now I've resigned myself to scraps as I refuse to arrive 2 hours before the game (as all the tourist fans do many have been there all day) .
I miss the next 3 home games so hopefully next time I go I'll be in a better mood and someone will leave me a piece of quiche biggrin

Trick seems to be to hang around near the doors and then you can grab off the plate the burgers and mini fish and chips etc that would never reach you otherwise.

To this day I prefer to sit outside with a bag of chips soaking up the atmosphere than the pre match corporate hospitality.

Why would anyone want to preface a match by having a "buffet"? Footy is about being with the fans, having pie/chips/whatever and sitting outdoors or in the pub. Not going to a corporate style room.

The world has gone mad.

Is everyone aware that we are now permanently a man down btw? Not looking to cause trouble like, it's just we have a prolific poster conspicuous by his absence.
